It protects the screen against scratches, yet allows you to continue to operate the touchscreen of the phone. The Geek squad representative applied the screen within minutes and did not charge for their service. A few minor air bubbles formed after the application, yet the bubbles were eaily removed with minor effort.

The ones that i could not get out magically disappeared overnight. The screen protector looks and feels just like the normal screen on the phone. Now to find out how long it lasts.
