Def. wanted one that would protect against not only scratches, but also impacts, etc. Yes, these protectors are expensive, but it's cheaper than replacing the screen on the phone. Had the Geek Squad put it on for me, since I'm a klutz with putting these on devices and mange to mess it up somehow - worth the eight bucks they charged.

It’s good but a bit hard to get right
