While I have had the shield get cracked on a couple of them, the phone was undamaged - which is the whole point of the glass protector. I always get Zagg because they will replace the shield if it does get a crack in it. I like a company that stands behind their product.

When I purchased a new iPhone 12 Pro Max the first thing I did was have the ZAGG screen protector put on the phone. I have dropped phones in the past and broken the glass protector but it saved the screen. Don't wait to have it installed on your phone.
