I questioned it, as I have NEVER paid to have it installed in the past. THey waived the fee Also, buying the protector at Best Buy, you get the lifetime warranty, where if it breaks, they will replace it free of charge

Don’t get me wrong, it’ll crack if you drop it but Best Buy’s hassle free lifetime replacement guarantee makes it the best choice for a screen protector. I recommend paying the nominal fee for the Best Buy crew to install it for you.
