To protect your investment. This is the best way. To properly install the glass properly, just have the geek squad do it. If they make the mistake, it's on them.

Live the glass screen protectors! I have one on all our electronics. The only downfall is the finger prints. But I'd rather have that than pay 100 for a new screen

Easy to install ... they have improved the way you "hold" the screen protector to ensure you don't add your own finger prints. One mistake, because it was so easy, was I should have left the alcohol dry before placing the screen protector onto the iPad (caused one unnecessary bubble that I had to work to get out).
