Worth the wait

It didn't work properly with android phone

The gimbal would start doing crazy motions, vibrating and ultimately was unusable to me for what I wanted to film. I see the potential but it has several issues on android phones. Maybe my unit was defective or not optimized for my phone.

Excellent product - missing option
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In the description, it states "The stabilizer can charge your phone directly during shooting." ...in reality, it comes with a USB to Type-C USB cable...that means you can connect the Smooth 4 to your computer, but CANNOT connect your phone to the Smooth 4 to charge it while you are using the unit. From the manual to the guide to whatever I find online, it seems I received the cable that went with a different Smooth 4 version. The manual I found on their site has a USB port at the base of the Smooth 4. You use that to connect the phone to the unit and charge the phone. This one has no such thing. It has the Type-C USB on one end and USB on the other, but the ports available are micro-USB at the top and Type-C USB at the base. So I would need a Type-C USB to micro-USB cable to actually use the unit and charge my phone at the same time; however, the only one I can find is 6 feet long! So this part sucks. Aside from that, so far the product seems great, sturdy, sound, is easy to hold, tripod is perfect, looks great, and I'm learning how to use it. My first few videos didn't really show me anything to be amazed by, but I'm looking at some tutorials to make sure I use it correctly to get the desired effects.
