This kettle is pretty great. It's incredibly easy to clean, though I do wish the lid opened a little higher. It gets water boiling in about 2-3 minutes. My only complaint is mostly due to the description Best Buy provides on its site as it incorrectly adds info from the step up model as this unit does not have multiple settings for temperature, doesn't have a keep warm setting, and also doesn't have an insert for teas. Also, when it says it's a 6 cup capacity, it's talking about the measurement not an actual average size of a personal cup. It can fill roughly two large coffee mugs at most.

Great water heater, nice design, exterior is cool when water is heater up. However need to redesign the cover to open fully when press.

Loved it for a couple of weeks until the lid got stuck and wouldn't open. We could still press the button and pry it open with our fingers, but that's not the most comfortable things to do when it's hot. Luckily it was still in the return/exchange window so I just took it back and ordered a replacement. Yes, even after this lid glitch, I ordered the exact same thing because we loved it. A boiling pot of water in under 3 minutes. It's quiet, fast, very comfortable in hand and takes up very little room in my drawer. Hoping the lid glitch with the first one was just an anomaly and that the replacement will be just fine.

Does what it is designed to do, but lacks basic features that are present on cheaper options.
