Outstanding TV
Finally losing our trusty 55 inch, 15 year old, Sony HDTV, we purchased this Sony, 65", OLED, A8G, 4K UHD with HDR as a replacement. Wow! After installing it (it took a bit to get it the way we like it) we are finding that, so far, the A8G is reliable, capable, with a picture quality that is hard to imagine. For example, we have watched 4K Youtube travel content and the best we can say is: "It's like we were there! We were concerned, reading reviews, about the OLED brightness, but, that was to no avail as we have had to back off the brightness to 10% to stop from going blind. :-) The IR Blaster works great as it controls our Comcast Set Top Box with -almost- every feature (lacking only voice searching and an "info" button). The screen is so thin we are almost afraid to touch it....and the TV was light enough for one person to install it. It remains to be seen how long the A8G will last (it has huge shoes to fill!) but, we hope to enjoy this for many years to come.

Best in class
This television redefines black levels! I know that LG supplies the oled panels, but Sony knows how to drive that panel for optimum color balance. Sony is the only 4K television certified by the motion film association! I have always felt that Sony gave a better picture than their competitors, and still do! And Best Buy is the place to buy it or any other consumer electronics product! They are truly on the ball!

Great TV, Gaming not so much!
So I have had this TV about 5 months now which I wanted to wait a little bit before I reviewed it! This TV is hands down the best TV I have ever owned outside of one factor.... Gaming, and the reason why I say that is because there is input lag between your controller and the response time it takes to notice that motion on the TV. If you can designate this TV for just watching regular shows and Movies and such, you will be very satisfied. Just stay away if you are an avid gamer. Just my opinion and ive tried everything to fix it. Now if someone has this TV and does game on it and figured out how to correct that, then let me know please!

Amazing quality
I’m not a Sony guy at all but when I went shopping for a new TV I was extremely impressed by what I saw. This TV outperformed all others in the room and had a decent price point compared to the LG (the only other OLED TV). Having it home, I have to say that I really like the sound although I don’t use it because I have a 5.1 setup. I also hung it on the wall with the Sony mount for this TV and really love how close it sits to the wall. I am still exploring features but this TV has also restored my faith in smart tv software. It’s completely flawless compared to my Samsung. I’m thoroughly enjoying this product.

W O W!
Such a great TV for the price I paid. The speaker built into the display actually produces enough range and volume that you will be satisfied in smaller rooms without a large speaker setup. The screen resolution and color output are remarkable. Blacks are very black and the contrast is wonderful with the OLED screen. It has enough inputs and outputs to keep most tech savvy people happy and switches between sources with ease as they are turned on or off. The smart remote control can take over as a fire TV remote without a blink of uncertainty, which is nice because those things are small and get lost easy! Although the TV is large at 65”, it’s also very light. The screen feels almost flimsy because of how thin it is, but it’s sturdy enough. Overall this is a great TV and should last for many years is taken care of properly.
