A retired Army officer (Petr Fedorov) in 1860 St. Petersburg acts as a professional stand-in for pistol duels among the nobility. The film is simple yet expressive , historical setting , good action and good chose for the actor . Russian film it is well made with expensive taste .

This film will keep you on the edge of your feet it's a drama very well done beautiful costumes it's in Russian language but you don't even notice it because you will get into the story.Best foreign film

I did not realize it was a Russian Movie when I first bought it, but it turned out to be a really good Movie. If you don't mind subtitles or you are learning Russian I would recommend this movie.

Description of movie looked great. After getting it home and looking at fine print realized movie was in Russian. Took it back, bummer!

The film is in Russian so sub titled . I did not mind at all well worth my time . Glad to have it as part of my movie collection. Loved it.
