Daniel Barber's civil-war drama The Keeping Room stars Brit Marling as Augusta, a young woman in the South who must tend to her family's farm with the help of only her sulky teen sister Louise (Hailee Steinfeld) and their loyal slave Mad (Muna Otaru). Two Union soldiers, played by Sam Worthington and Kyle Soller, who have been sent ahead by General Sherman to scout the area, steal and rape their way through the town, and eventually lay siege to Augusta's home. The women work together to protect themselves, and eventually must decide what to do as Sherman's army is on the verge of overrunning the entire area. The Keeping Room screened at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.~Perry Seibert
Pretty good movie! Good plot good job! Something that happened after the war that we don't think immediately! People losing their property and fighting for it! Watch it!

Heres a story that could of had more depth to it and its a shame Hailee steinfeld did not have a better role she is a talented young lady who should go far.
