While it would have been easy to provide two left handed chairs and two right handed chairs ,whomever designed this set decided two left handed ,one with two arm rests and one with none . The one with no arm rest is of a lesser quality with a cheesy pull cord mechanism. It doesn't weigh enough to keep it I place when you put the foot rest down ,requiring you to constantly realign the set . Three out of four chairs are extremely comfortable but the armless one is a big loser.
