Pixar returns to their first success with Toy Story 3. The movie begins with Andy leaving for college and donating his beloved toys -- including Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) -- to a daycare. While the crew meets new friends, including Ken (Michael Keaton), they soon grow to hate their new surroundings and plan an escape. The film was directed by Lee Unkrich from a script co-authored by Little Miss Sunshine scribe Michael Arndt.~Perry Seibert
This is recommended for Disney Collectors. What makes it great is the time and effort that best buy puts in each Disney steelbook. This is worth the money. Do not think it twice and buy it now till they are all gone.
One of Pixar's best, Toy Story 3 is a wonderful way to end one era while leaving the door open to new journeys.
The previous blu-ray looked great, and the 4K release is even better. Gorgeous video quality. Sound is also improved, but like most Disney/Marvel/Pixar 4K releases, you'll likely need to turn the volume up a bit. For whatever reason, the sound is typically authored at a quieter baseline.
You could just watch this on Disney+, but the picture quality will be better on disc. Disney+ quality is great, but it can't beat the quality of a 4K disc. If you like extras, you'll find many, many more of them on the included blu-ray disc than on Disney+. This set also comes with a digital code so you'll still have the convenience of being able to watch digitally when you want.
I would recommend this to a friend

My grandsons love this movie!!
Owned for 11 months when reviewed.
I purchased this DVD for my young grandsons. IThey love to watch it over and over on the DVD player in the car. Makes for happy road trips!!
I put off watching Toy Story 3 for so long. I had grown up for the first two films and I was scared; scared for the stories to end, and scared for how they were going to handle the 3rd film. My fears were not needed, because this movie is an emotional roller coaster that thoroughly reminded why I adored these films so much, and it made me feel like a kid again, even if only for a little while.
