Enjoyable story
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendA heartbreaking love story set in Britain after the fall of the Roman empire. An orphaned boy taken in by the man destined to unite the splintered tribes of Britain as their king, falls in love with the daughter of the Irish king, but doesn't realize who she actually is until it is too late and hearts and destinies are set on a course of conflict and destruction. Good viewing, well acted by James Franco and Sylvia Miles, plus an early role for Henry Cavill (future Superman star) and David O'Hara as the Irish king.

Old Story Done Well
|Posted .We all know the tragic story of Tristan and Isolde so the acting and the way the film is made become all important. They did a good job on this movie and made you feel the immediacy of their love and the danger and tragedy it evoked. The actors do well and the movie is well made.

Absolutely Magnificant!
Posted .This is an absolutely amazing movie! I have already watched it 3 times this week. The battle scenes are spectacular (not that I enjoy watching battles - but these were very well done). The story is so sweet, but really pulls on your heart strings. Makes you just wish to be able to help them in some way so that their dreams could come true. You will not be disappointed if you enjoy Medieval love stories :0) EXCELLENT!!!!
