Writer/director Tyler Perry's thriller Acrimony considers whether a woman scorned is always validated in her anger. Taraji P. Henson plays Melinda, whose unfaithful husband (Lyriq Bent) of 18 years seemingly replaces her with a new fiancée (Crystle Steward) just as he finally finds success as an inventor. Enraged and unhinged, Melinda plots her elaborate, violent revenge.~Kaitlin Elise Miller

Another Tyler Perry Hit
I'm used to seeing Tyler Perry doing comedy films. He is really talented as a writer and director as well. This story starts out with a woman who feels she was done wrong to and she proceeds to tell her story. The story is interesting cause she seems justified. As the plot twists and turns, we find ourselves realizing how things seem to change and she is no longer the victim but now the villain. Great actors along with a good story makes a person think how it is so much different when looking at it from a different prospective. I don't want to give away any of the plot, but I do suggest you see the film. Very good story.
Very interesting, full of intrigue, mystery and action. One of Tyler Perry's best works. I would recommend it to everyone. Reminds me of Fatal Attraction but with a twist - young love turned to bitterness then to hate (woman scorned)
