Geek Squad Protection International Claims

1. Contact the manufacturer to get assistance locating an authorized service center near you. If there is not an authorized service center in your area, you are able to receive service from a reputable service provider. Or, if you are in Canada, you can also utilize Best Buy for service.
2. You will be required to pay for repairs or any product replacement (if not repairable) out-of-pocket, including services provided in-store at Canadian Best Buy locations, and we will reimburse you according to the claim process below. Be sure to save your receipt or invoice. Best Buy is not responsible for the quality of any repair or replacement that is not provided by Best Buy.

Please ensure you have all of the information listed below prior to starting the claim process. Once your claim has been approved, you will receive reimbursement in two to five weeks depending on reimbursement method.*See Disclosure

1. Protection Plan ID (GSP#). Your Geek Squad Protection Plan ID (GSP#) can be found on your Best Buy receipt or in your plans and subscriptions account.
2. Service Center Information
3. Receipt or Invoice – must include service description, parts, country of service, and currency. If the invoice is not in English, translate service description and parts.
4. Please be prepared to provide the product’s serial number.

Please contact Best Buy between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. CT if we can assist you in submitting your international claim, including to locate your Protection Plan ID number.
