I loved the clean line look and it’s very roomy inside. The refrigerator is very quiet.

So far so good. Beautiful. Quiet. Extremely spacious, and a great price from best buy. Really love the door feature, and really glad I didn't have to buy a samsung to get it. Other reviewers have complained about odd tasting water, and I noticed that symptom at first too. The answer is NOT to run more water. I found the answer online, actually, as this is apparently an LG thing. When you install water filter, you're going to need to do an additional hand turn on the filter beyond the initial resistance. You're turning the filter farther than you would turn it in a GE or Whirlpool, when installing. You know you've done it right when you have air in the line and hear the water hit the filter for the first time. If you don't hear all of that, you didn't turn the filter far enough. And before you say "but the door closes", YES, the filter door will close without the filter being completely connected. I did an additional hand turn on the filter, got air in the line, ran the water for a few minutes, and have had delicious and clean water and ice since then. As good or better than any refrigerator I've ever had. So DON'T go returning this model over water taste; fix your filter. And if you don't like branding like me - super easy to remove the sticker "LG" from the top corner of the refrigerator.

This is the most refrigerator you’ll ever need. Perfect ice cold water, ice crusher, and ice cube dispenser. Love the look in the kitchen. Keeps everything fresh! The only downside is the water/ice dispenser button is a little counter intuitive to use and hard for one hand operation.

So far so good. We replaced a 30-yr-old GE that just kept plugging along until it stopped. All reviews sound like new fridges last a fraction of that time. We do like the design -- I've found the French door fridges with the freezer drawer at the bottom more awkward to use. Also, the door-in-door is a fun and convenient feature. Note: It was an open box fridge, but we didn't realize it had actually been used and returned when we bought it. The installers mentioned that and sure enough, there were signs there had actually been items inside. There was also one minor dent at the bottom of one of the door. Here's to hoping it will last 15 years. I'll come back and give it 5 stars if it makes it to 10 years without a repair.

Love this side by side after having a bottom freezer for years. It is spacious and quiet.
