One-year insurance is set at a reasonable price. It just makes sense. I've had to use it a couple times for a cracked screen, and the process is simple...but I knocked off a star because I still had to pay an additional $10 when replacing the phone. The employee explained that people were breaking phones on purpose to get new ones, so the fee is supposed to be a deterrent. Annoying.

If something is expensive and electronic, I always buy the protection plan. To me it's worth it since you get a replacement for much less than you would spend on a new item. The replacement plan for my new cell phone also covers lost/stolen! If you are willing to take your chances and have wads of cash, skip this purchase.

I wouldn't ever purchase a cell phone without adding the Best Buy 1-Year Accidental Geek Squad Coverage! I cannot tell you how this has saved my hinny time and time again! There is never any hassle, or issues when needed to deal with the Best Buy Support Staff - Even when it's needing to be replaced due to my forgetting it in my pocket when I jumped into the pool! Talk about well worth the $$$!

I always buy the geek squad protection with every product. I believe it is worth the price. Did have a horrible experience once with a phone replacement and once with a laptop but I would still recommend.

For over one weeks finding this cell phone was easy, but the experience I had at Best Buy was and has always been wonderful. The employees that helped me was very knowledgeable of this product and past products I've purchased. I would like to thank Mr.Ben in the Geek Squad Dept and Ms. Shanta in the moblie Dept. I cannot tell you how much these plans have always been of benefit to our family & to insuring that we continue to have the electronics we want. Given that I have a teenager, I love feeling confident that if anything whatsoever happens that I'll be able to get his phone replaced - should he be anywhere near as accident prone as his mother! :)

Never be w/o Geek Squad protection; even for a cheap phone...1 yr. is good. Just Best Buy needs to go back to being better to deal with as far as returning a phone that breaks&ability to leave immediately with a new working phone!

I have not used it yet for this phone but I have for my laptop and previous phone. They have never told me they could not do something or I would need to pay extra.

Any android phone bought at Best Buy needs the protection, if you drop your phone a lot or has hardware issues. Like most phones due. Buying an apple phone, Best Buy doesn't offer thru Best Buy. Worth the $50 for android phones.

Three times I have gone to geek squad. Twice for a tv and once for a PS4. All three times the employees at geek squad were very informative and helpful. They manage to help replace and fix all three of my devices smoothly.

Top notch service! And it's needed to give peace of mind if your phone should go out on you or anything close to it. I recommend this! And thanks to Quinton from the Woodridge/Darien store for offering it to me.

I got the protection plan for my kids's electronics and it was definitely something worth getting. I took the tablet back with a cracked screen and got an exchange with no problems or questions.

This is good 1 yr plan for cell phones. Just be aware there is a 50 dollar charge for a broken screen.

I love the geek squad protection plans. So easy to use aslong as the tech or salesperson doing it is properly trained. I always recommend this to any friend buying electronic products at Best Buy

Best Buy is the only place I will get my cell phone insurance. The geek squad is complete coverage and very cheap! I'm a very happy pleased customer and will continue being a member.

But this plan still is worth while if you are like me and break phones left and right...

They seem to be very knowledgeable and friendly. Hopefully when I need them they're useful.

Always get phone protection never know when you might need it. Works like a charm.
