I used note air 2 before this and the addition of color is why I upgraded to Note air 5c. The device is snappy (considering it's a e-ink device). I loved reading on it and taking notes. Having android OS, I synced all my cloud storage. With email app, I download anything I need to sign on it and upload signed document from here without any additional printing.

The software is very weak and unstable. The writing experience is relatively good, but the default writing app doesnt offer much in the way of additional functionality. The biggest complaint is that it's about 50/50 if updating your device will cause major instability issues requiring you to reset your device. I've also been having rapid battery loss lately. I WANT TO LOVE THIS THING.. I just can't.

This was my very first e-ink device. Very impressive and easy to use. The menu system is very straitforward. Note taking makes you feel like using a real pen on real paper. While it can play video, this is not what this reader is for.

Really the best eink tablet all around. Back light and color. Pen magnet location is annoying. But otherwise flawless

I mainly use it for reading article and papers. Watching the monitor all day long make me sick, and this ink notebook perfectly solve my problem, especially laying down on bed / sofa for the reading at night!.

So much more than just an e-reader. The screen feels natural and the pen feels very realistic.
