Seems a bit spendy right out of the gate but when you realize you can get away without having to buy annoying protective gear like a scream protector you aren't spending that much. I trust it to protect me even with a few kids putting it at risk sometimes. Something you'd rather not have to use but better to have for any unforseen event.

We purchased this warranty for our Nintendo Switch for 2 years. We have used this twice. First time our controllers went out I met the Geek Squad Manager at my service appointment . Fourteen months later it stopped charging and it was sent in for service. I was notified and updated of every process from arrival at warehouse to what they were repairing all the way to shipping back to me. Always back to me in less time than promised. I wish everytime something broke in our house I could call the Geek Squad to fix it! They are smart and quick and so helpful!

Basically a must have for almost every purchase of mine from Best Buy as it’s paramount for hassle free support servicing

I reccomend getting it in case you damage the nintendo switch. Its better to be safe than sorry. If you buying a expensive item, its better to put protection because we never know when accidents happen.
