The replacement plan is awesome!!! If it goes out, or even if you want to upgrade ( not sure if that applies to all their products) they replace it right off the shelf! I replaced a monitor on a Lorex security system and they gave me a new one off the shelf! No hassles, no fine print loopholes, just quickly correcting the problem! I had to replace it a second time, but I wanted to change products. They gave me the FULL purchase price plus warranty price to put on the new system, which was Swann. I am not a person that puts warranties on everything, but I will from now on at Best Buy!!!

Although I've never been much of a protection plan guy, the Best Buy protection plan is far better than the factory plan. Simply put, the Geek Sqd plan covers everything, be it your fault or not. I've had to utilize the protection plan before with my IPad after I crack the screen, the Best Buy rep simply told me to go pick out another IPad. It's about the most hassle free protection plan that I've seen. No waiting from the factory and it only required two signatures to complete.

We have purchased a lot of electronics from Best Buy over the years and have found that the "2-year Geek Squad Product Replacement" plan is worth EVERY penny that it costs - especially on the higher end electronics. Under the plan, product returns and replacement is easy - as we have discovered over the years - and it has helped us several times.

Its not cheap, but its worth it! Being able to exchange the old router when Netgear's update damaged it and get a whole new one was a three minute experience. According to the customer service person, without the plan they would have had to turn me away and send me to Nergear for manufacturer support. Well worth the money!

I really recommend this for all your important devices (TVs, PCs, printers, tablets, games, consoles, routers, etc.). I have used it in the past and there is no doubt, IT WORKS!!!!!! I just go in the store with the device, give it to the customer service rep, just get another one and off I go... no questions asked...

I purchased a nighthawk for my home after readying many reviews. I was all all set to install it until I realized I purchased the wrong one for my internet service. Because I had the geek squad coverage I was able to return the Nighthawk and with the help of an employee get the correct one.

Geek Squad 2 Year Protection is cheap peace of mind - it's great to know if something happens, I'm covered. We didn't use it (because nothing broke) but it's great to know we have nothing to worry about. Recommended.

I bought Google Wifi a few days ago, so I felt that I had to get this to make sure it'll be protected. I spent $300 on that, so why not pay $30 to be sure it works correctly? Just pay for the extra protection, trust me you won't regret it.

My Geek Squad tech package has been a life saver. The convenience of chatting with Geek Squad tech and the ability to correct a issue without having to transport my computer to a Best Buy location has been great. Well worth the investment.

I really like this product but sometime the video footage is delayed but I do recommend this you can see who has arrived at your home,or Round your home because the camera has a motion sensor you can control from you're phone

It is worth the money! I had an internet router for an entire year and it decided to stop working. So, Best Buy returned the router and let me pick out a new one! Even though it was over a year old! Worth every penny!!

I've had about 5 routers DIE on me, and this geek service lets me replace each time... this has been in the same year. Tried about 3 brands so far. Two failed out of the box! UGH! But Geek Squad to the rescue!

I usually don't get this protection for many items, but with the big ticket purchase like this it seemed well worth the money. Plus if I have any network issues I can count on them to help me out.

This 2 year Geek Squad replacement for $8.99 is a great value! Purchased for our 13 year old son's X-box One gaming console headphones, we won't worry about them breaking prematurely.

Rarely turn down two year warranties even though they can get pricey but worth it to mitigate any potential replacements due to products that may be lemons or just faulty but not typical.

240 router went bad after power surge and they replaced it without issue. Made a great experience as spending a little extra insured I didnt have to payout big to replace item.
