Customer Ratings & Reviews

Purchased this for my open box OLED and I am happy to be protected. I appreciate how the price of the protection plan was lowered since the tv I purchased was open box and therefire discounted vs a new unit. The protection plan already came in handy because the open box unit came with the wrong remote model, and I was able to use the GSP plan to request a replacement remote of the correct model for free. Always would recommend GSP for an OLED product especially because it covers burn in!

They were very informative of when they were arriving and arrived spot on to when they said. The two gentlemen were respectful and courteous when they entered our home. The 100” Sony tv they were bringing in was handled with so much care and cautious to no hit any walls or door frames when carrying it in. They set up the tv quickly, removed all the packaging and were on their way in no time at all. Definitely recommend choosing them to setup and handle all your electronics installation and service.

I decided to add the 5-year protection plan to my Samsung 75” QN90F because it’s a big investment, and I want the extra peace of mind. Knowing I have protection beyond the manufacturer’s warranty makes me feel much more comfortable, especially with a large and expensive TV. For the price, I think the extra coverage is definitely worth having.

Sony 65" BRAVIA XR A95L OLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV Model #XR65A95L I opted for Home Installation. Brian and Manny from Best Buy just left. While they were busy with the install, I was able to prop-up my feet and get my own work done [see photo]. I highly recommend Best Buy’s HOME INSTALL. While it may seem like an unnecessary ‘extra’ on top of what you’re already shelling out for a new [insert your product name here], it has always saved me time, money, and my sanity. Heck, for those of us with high blood pressure Home Install might even save our life *wink* I don’t know about you, but vague instructions, misaligned holes, or missing parts can really ‘test my patience’ even on a good day :-) Even though I AM technically savvy, the peace of mind I get with Home Install ($99+/-) is priceless: two highly knowledgeable installers transport, handle, hang, and program our TV. I don’t have to worry about dropping it, cracking the highly sensitive screen, pieces not fitting properly, missing parts, or reading allll of the instructions on how to program it or how to add/pair additional remotes. I know it will get done right and get done quickly — very quickly. As always. With Home Install NONE OF THAT IS YOUR CONCERN (oh look, there’s my smile!). If the item breaks/gets damaged during transport or install Best Buy’s got it covered, which is nice to know given smartTVs have such highly sensitive screen surfaces. And they always send two techs, making install super quick. They were done in about 20 minutes, which included unboxing, taking down the old 73” flatscreen, hanging the new tv, hooking-up the new tv, programming it, pairing the Roku remote, showing me some of the Sony remote functions, and removal of the packaging if you don’t wish to keep it. When they left they said I could contact them any time if I had any Qs or issues. Who knew that’d be just two minutes later, after they’d just left for their next appointment? I sent them a frantic text and they offered to come back when done with their current install (thank you!). Even though it was getting late, they drove back out and fixed the issue (a simple conflict with our home audio setup which they diagnosed in about 30 seconds!). Two minutes after arriving they were back out the door, and we had an amazing, quality tv that worked. Simply put, Geek Squad Home Install removes all of the anxiety while saving me time.

This has is the best purchase i have made in 20 years! This Samsung TV DELIVERS an AMAZING picture and sound quality! This is really worth every penny i paid for it. Dont miss this BEST BUY! The salesperson was right when he said, Congratulations, you have just bought an AWESOME TV.

I recently had an issue with the TV I had purchased last year the required me to contact the Geek Squad to schedule an in home diagnostic appointment. Not only were the men who came out here were professional but they were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and just a delight to deal with but when they determined that the TV had basically died they were also more than competent when aiding in the process of obtaining a new one and coming back again to deliver, remove the old set and installing a brand new set that works even better than our previous set. They made the entire process as smooth, painless, and stress free far beyond than I have ever experienced before.

I purchased the 2 year protection plan for this Hisense TV because, I didn't have a protection plan on my old TV I purchased from best buy when it broke recently so I couldn't get it repaired. I know this time if anything happens to my Hisense TV I just purchased if anything goes wrong with it, my Geek squad (Smart squad) is going to take care of the problem for me and having it like I just purchased fresh out of best buy. I don't like really calling em Geek squad because I know how it feels to get bullied, I know I'm going off topic. But it's great to have people like them for the warranty on you're items because they know what the problem is, answer all the questions, and are going to fix it.

Beautiful!! I recommended having agents perform the Install however, I had a friend help me, and we carefully made the transition from box to wall with minimal issues. This TV is large and slightly difficult to handle so, professional help Install is preferable. This being a Q6 TV was well worth the price and after a year now, it is still working great with a phenomenal picture. A slight issue with glare on the screen but, the brightness of the TV can overpower that easily. Works great for bright rooms. Q LEDs are notorious for being very bright and working well with bright rooms which includes little to no burn in issues. I’m hoping this TV lasts me many many years to come. Awesome!!

This is probably the best budget Mini-LED TV if you need a screen that is not larger than 50". I got an open-box (excellent) item, and it doesn't have a single scratch. Being a mini-LED, this has beautiful, vibrant colors and deep blacks (the next best to an OLED screen). It also has much better speakers than a similar budget 50" mini-LED. I also think Google TV is much better than Fire TV, as seen in that other budget mini-LED TV. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I noticed fast-moving horizontal lines on the screen today. Although this issue was resolved after restarting the TV, I remain concerned and wonder how these budget brands will perform in the long term. But I at least got Geek Squad protection for peace of mind.

I purchased the 5 years for my television based on a few factors. The TV that this one is replacing went out only after 3 years. The same thing happened to 2 friends of mine. One of them had the warranty and the other didn't. Finally, the gentleman who dropped off my television had the same thing happen to him and told me that the replacement process was quick and easy. I took this as a sign from the universe to go ahead and get the warranty. For an extra 79.99, I am glad I did.

Adding extra protection is good to have. Sometimes factory warranties is a difficult process or doesnt cover all claims. Geek squad can provide additional coverage and help, onsite, faster and effectively.

Technology is created with expiration in mind. Keeps the rich, rich. If you haven’t figured out that items lapse at expiry then ask someone who had a grandparent whose washer lived for decades. I know every device or electronic I buy now is meant to only be rented. You’re just renting this stuff and if ten percent will give me another year or two, that’s double what Samsung gives me.

I recently bought a new Sony Bravia 9. It's way nicer than any tv I've owned in the past. I made sure to pair it with the 5-year Geek Squad Protection. Well worth the peace of mind!

Best industry 98” TV for price! Hands down. Couldn’t just another $1,000 for next model up (8k). Great NITS & dimming zones for the $$—simply can’t be beat—congrats Best Buy & TCL!

Additional support and customer care. Extended pass the factory 2 year warranty which doesn't always cover some claims. Geek squad picks the slack and makes its a better experience.

Whenever I purchase a high price TV, computer, etc. I purchase the extended warranty since I feel comfortable knowing that Best Buy has my purchased covered if anything should go wrong. Hoping I never need to use it but confident if I do.

I recently purchased the LG 83" 4K Smart OLED TV from Best Buy, and I could not be happier with both the product and the service. The delivery team went above and beyond— they didn’t just drop it off; they hooked up the television, set up my surround sound, connected all my devices, and even took the time to walk me through how everything works. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made the whole experience absolutely wonderful. I’m thrilled with my new TV and very grateful for such outstanding service.

This by far the best television that I have ever bought. From start to finish it was wonderful. They delivered the tv. I immediately had it up and running within a half hour. The system was self guiding with absolutely no problem. It has all the bells and whistles. Picture absolutely beautiful!! I’m looking forward on purchasing one for my game room. You will not be disappointed!!!

Bought this for the 75" Tv we bought! Definitely coming in handy being installed in our family business!

better safety than sorry, I had the Geek Squad warranty, and it saved a TV that I had about 3 years ago, well worth the money. better to have and not need than need and not have
