I got this plan with a 75 in tv and sound bar as a present for my dads retirement. I’m stationed a few states away and I didn’t want him trying to lift the tv or sound bar if anything went wrong and I wasn’t there to help. I assumed the service would include installation and moving it anytime he wanted but they provide more than that. Not only did they install everything; they set it up, trained him how to use everything, and continue to provide support. If anything at all goes wrong with the system the only lifting he has to do is his finger to dial the phone. Within a few days (usually sooner rather than later) they come out and fix anything wrong. Awesome service

I think this protection plan is a wise choice with big ticket electronic items like TVs or Blue Ray players given all of the quirks associated with technology these days. If you read the reviews of those who have had issues, it's always a happy ending when this plan comes into play, and a horror story when the opposite is true. I chose to spend the bucks and include this my my purchase and feel much more secure about my new TV and Home Theater system. That peace of mind alone is worth the price of admission in my book.

This has already paid for itself with a few problems that I had along the way with my tv. I was skeptical at first to purchase thinking I’m just throwing away money but glad I did it. Geek squad was great and easy to work with it.

I never leave Best Buy without it.. never... i have bought a lot of stuff there,,,,high end.. sometimes it just doesn’t deliver ..that’s what they are there for.. i have Ben let down only once by this protection and it was on a 4 year old blue ray... no biggie

I thought long and hard on whether I should buy the protection plan or not. I usually say NO to these plans, but since this was for the TV and the mounting service and since I decided to have them mount the TV/soundbar, the cost became more affordable. Definitely worth it!

Might be a little expensive but totally worth it when purchasing electronics. So many moving parts who knows what could potentially go wrong. Rather spend a little more to add procreation and know I'm covered.

Hopefully never have to use it but love the peace of mind Best Buy provides on such high end products. Price can seem like a lot up from but at the end of the day it's worth it.

Can't say I've needed it yet, but I can say getting this rather than 2 yr plan is a very good deal and can make the difference... Protect your expensive purchases!
