After a year of looking at smart locks I finally took the plunge. I really liked the look and features of this lock, but many of the reviews were bad on reliability and battery life. Also, I don’t like that it takes AA batteries. Some people said it simply died after a few months and never worked again. So I bought an Aqara on Amazon to save money. As soon as I took it out of the box I thought it was hideously huge, and one of the parts was the wrong color. So I sent it back. After chewing on it a bit longer, I decided to pony up some dough and buy this lock. I had a big feeling I’d like it more. So to mitigate the battery issue I picked up some rechargeable AA batteries. Then to mitigate the reliability worry, I bought the product (Yale) in the store and I got the 4 year protection plan. That way if there’s an issue, I can bring it right back to the store and swap it for a fresh one. Now for my product review. THIS THING IS AWESOME. It is everything I wanted in a smart lock (except the batteries). I got rid of another key on my ring. I can just walk up to it and tap my iPhone or watch and it automatically unlocks. I can set a code for my young son and he can unlock it. Locking the door as I’m leaving is super fast, just touch the top of the key pad after closing the door. It really saves a lot of time. And this lock looks really good too. Another interesting feature, it integrates with my Ecobee products. The lock can trigger the alarm, if I want. I’ve only had it a few weeks now, but I definitely love it. It is integrated into my Ecobee thermostat and doorbell camera, Apple HomeKit, and connected to WiFi. The WiFi connection isn’t the fastest, so it takes a few seconds to update the status. I’m assuming this is because it needs to save battery life so it’s not constantly transmitting WiFi. But to be fair, I don’t use the WiFi as often as I expected I would. I am interested in finding out what will happen when the batteries run out. I read somewhere there’s a warning, at which point I will likely switch to the rechargeable batteries. I will update this review if my experience changes.

After my gaming headset suffered some water damage, Geek Squad swooped in like Superman and saved the day. I got a brand new headset with ease. I definitely recommend buying Geek Squad protection for all high value electronics.

Why take a risk, you can't beat a four year warranty on something as expensive as a TV. After purchasing a TV from a lesser reputable place and having it break down after six months and then refusing to replace it I went with the professionals and got the extended warranty just to make sure I never found myself purchasing another OLED TV

I loved these cameras and the when geek squad came and put them in they was fast and easy.

Great camera, up until a blur appeared inside the lens. I cleaned the outer part of the lens but the blur is still there.

There is no way I would NOT buy a extended Geek Squad warranty. I recently had an Amazon Echo Dot start acting stupid after its 3rd year with me. I took it back to Best Buy with the receipt (yes, I keep receipts and boxes), walked to the counter, explained what it was doing, the very helpful salesman pointed out what the new 5th generation model did, paid $10 more and I was out the door!

Best buy worker got this off shelf was supposed to be camera setup it was a add on camera it costed more because had to get a module 2 to run wifi through the workers to busy to get back to do nothing with other workers upfront doors to get me the right camera setup

When I have to bring my electronic devices, they always serve me very well and they fix my devices or give me a quick solution.

Having protection for my security camera makes me feel better about the money spent on it.

Have not had any issue with the item yet but this is a great item to have jist in case something breaks

I Love this Device I wish I had another one for my back door now. Having some Issues in the neighborhood but being on a fixed income it's just not in my budget right now.

Simply Safe was easy to set up and install. The ability to set alarm remotely is very helpful. The cameras are good quality. It is easy to add components as needed.

I did it myself and it want easy,and simple, very good
