4-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection

*Took away one star because my mother never hugged me as a child and as a result I am never completely satisfied. Under normal circumstances I do not purchase extended warranties, with the exception of large appliances subject to heavy usage. However, (pause for affect)...in the event that I am able to find an open box item categorized as excellent for a price decrease close to twice the cost of a 4 year service plan I go for it. In this case, I purchased a subwoofer normally priced at $300 for $225 and paid around $40 for a 4 year seevice plan. Since I was fully prepared to take the $300 hit, I figured that it was advisable to pay less for the product and add in the ability to play my music at irresponsible levels for durations longer than advised; all while being backed by a service plan and still paying around $35 less than I planned to spend. Open box disclaimer: I did get burned on the open box item. It was incorrectly categorized online as having all parts and components, but was missing all of them except the main unit. This could be avoided if the item can be checked in store, but I purchased it blind online. So if you need it to be whole the day you receive it proceed with caution. No need to fret though, Best Buy made it right in short order.

Well first I bought a Kenwood 600 watt amplifier I didn't buy the geek squad protection plan well after a year it started piping cracking noises so when I took it back they couldn't do anything about it and I don't blame them but if I would have had the protection plan I wouldn't had to buy another one I learned my lesson everything I buy iget the 4year plan it's not expensive and you feel better knowing if anything happens your coverd

Must have for all home , and auto needs. They will service no questions asked, purchased from their store or anywhere. Electrical, laptops , cameras ,TVs , car speakers , wiring , head units . Any household appliance. No labor , estimate , or service fee. At most , parts fee if needed. A+++++.!

Haven't had to use it, but wanted to say that $25 for 4 years of worry free car amplifier usage, or less than $6 a year, is SO worth it. Anything that would go on an amp is going to cost more than $25. Some warranties, imo, aren't worth it. This one is a no brainer.
