A great love letter to fans of classic Atari or people interested in video game history. Great selection of games spanning multiple Atari systems. Chock-full of extras including box art and details from developers.

I am an older gamer. (48) I can’t spend a lot of time on it, (responsibilities) but, it’s great to go down memory lane. I really enjoyed the videos from the programmers. Nice touch, Great Game.

Truly impressive multimedia experience that blends classic gameplay with documentary film quality videos in an interactive/playable timeline. Lots of fun games and some that are worth a play just to appreciate how far gaming has come since they were first made available to homes. Outlaw, Pong, Yar's Revenge are just a few titles but there's plenty to choose from.

Haven't yet played most of the games included in this set, but it's been fun to play these Atari games on a modern console like the Nintendo Switch! May not be as impressive to younger gamers, but it's got nostalgic value for those looking for it.

I must have if you are a retro gamer or a collector of retro games save a lot of space on Atari games

I found the documentary elements of this title far more interesting than most of the games included. Atari games just don't age well, and I say that as someone who played them enthusiastically as a child. There's still some fun to be had with a handful of the games, but it's not a long lasting experience. The behind the scenes videos and documentation, on the other hand, are fascinating, and worth viewing/reading through. Very interesting stuff, although maybe not worth the full retail price of a Switch cart. Atari die-hards or those interested in video game history are sure to enjoy this, however.

There have been Atari compilations before but none like this. Not only can you play the games perfectly emulated but you also get an interactive timeline with preserved documents and interviews. Also unlike other compilations, this one includes items from the Lynx and Jaguar.

Despite some obvious games missing for obvious reasons, this has a bunch great stuff for any gamer, including a massive time line and modern takes of a feww classics.

Fabulous if like me you grew up with the Atari 2600 and 800. Includes not just a nice selection of games from those and other Atari systems, but also an interactive timeline with select videos relating to the history of the systems and games.

As an 80s gamer, I enjoy revisiting the titles in this package. My son, and old soul at 14, loves these retro games as much as I did back then. We have had hours of enjoyment. But some games don't work very well with the controllers. Pong great example. All analog games are difficult

Digital Eclipse did a fantastic job with Atari 50. Just the inclusion of Tempest 2000 for Atari Jaguar makes it worth it. All of the arcade, console, and computer releases by Atari on this collection are polished to be very enjoyable with modern controllers, with plenty of quality-of-life features for today. Digital Eclipse with Atari have raised the bar on what to expect from a compilation sharing its history. It would be nice to see a similar release of the same caliber celebrating the heritage of other prolific video game companies.

Building out an interactive timeline that lets you watch videos, look at art, production models, and play games is maybe the most ingenius way to explore Atari’s 50 years in the industry. Well crafted and perfect for portable play.

There is some interesting footage and if you want to learn some of the history of Atari this is okay. If you are looking for something fun to play this is not it. If you grew up with the Atari and loved the games the nostalgia factor might give you some enjoyment. Each game seemingly has a different control scheme. The button you press to begin each game is different in most titles. My main nostalgia of Atari is the Jaguar and playing some of these games gave me that sick to the stomach feeling I got when I owned one and would rent all the games I could trying to find one that wasnt completely garbage.

I have played the old Atari games for years and was so happy to see a compilation of one of the most important and influential game studios of all time. Without Atari, games would be completely different. This collection was awesome and I am so glad to have these classics on modern systems.

I have purchased pretty much all Atari collections for nostagic memories. Some have been good, many have not. Out of all Atari collections, this one is by far the best and closest to what I remembered playing. The Atari Jaguar games is a huge plus since i was never able to play them before.

It's average because they should have put more work into the emulator. I have only played Asteroids so far, but the controls are very difficult to handle. You have to remember that the original Atari controls were not proportional to the deflection of the joystick so they were much less responsive. You would think that's a good thing, but it makes the game hard to play, and not as enjoyable.
