I purchased the Peerless-AV Neptune Full Sun Outdoor Smart TV for my roof patio which is exposed to the afternoon sun. It's difficult to find full sun outdoor TVs at this price point and the fact that this one comes with the wall mount and two remote controls (one weatherproof) is an added bonus. The TV was delivered to my house and installed by Best Buy the very next day. The picture quality is great, and the screen is sufficiently bright. I am able to download my favorite streaming apps, and watch TV via Wifi. The sound can be adjusted to give more of a cinematic effect. I don't anticipate needing a sound bar. All in all I am quite happy with my purchase.

I purchased the Peerless-AV Neptune Full Sun Outdoor Smart TV for my roof patio which is exposed to the sun. I was at my cousins house for Thanksgiving and we watched football on his 65" Neptune and I fell in love! 65" was too big for my space, so I wanted a 55". I was creating a theater room with Jeff, a Geek Squad/Best Buy consultant and I said I want an outdoor TV like my cousin and he said, "don't skimp" I recommend that you go with the Neptune. So that did it for me. Because my project is a custom project, it won't be installed until after Christmas, but I'm so excited. I will amend my review with photos. But everyone whom I've spoken with has raved over the quality. Signed, a pleased customer.

This 55" is our second Peerless Neptune Outdoor TV (first one is 65") and they are both exceptional tv's for the price and quality. The full sun outdoor screen shows a beautiful picture on the sunniest days and stands up to the elements very well. Would definitely recommend!

Overall the TV provides a great picture. Our outside area gets lots of full sun. The picture is not always clear and visible from all angles in full direct sunlight.

Worst purchase that I have ever made. The TV was functional for less than 10 total hours. After software update TV went to black screen and was unable to ever get the television working again. According to Peerless Customer Support, I am unable to access a hard reset, due the screen not functioning. I offered to send to a repair center & closest to me (I live in NY) is in IL. I have to pay to ship the TV, pay $175 bench fee plus parts and pray that it can be fixed

We've only had the device for a few days, but already there’s a lot to like. We're happy to report that the device cavity has enough space to hold the latest model Apple TV. You can use all your remote controls (such as the Apple TV) since infrared signals are routed into the back of the TV. (Our outdoor Sylvox didn't allow this.) The picture and sound quality are great. Picture was quite good in full sun and outstanding at night. We really appreciate the handles in the back that made it easier to lift onto the mount. Very happy so far! This is replacing two Sylvox TVs that broke (one was DOA and other broke within a couple of months). Crossing fingers, but we feel pretty good about the quality thus far.

Tv works great! Easy set up, get the family outside more! Even with the harsh storms we have had no issues with the tv its self or the connection!
