It's so good that I forget that it's on, it protects the lens and it makes no difference on my photos, now that's good!

I bought this filter to protect my new lens I usually use a polarizing filter, so this was a bit of a switch for me. This filter should also cut through atmospheric haze for those landscape shots during the hazy days of summer. I made some outdoor shots with and without the filter and found that the color of the photo was better with the filter on. Without the filter there was a slight bluish cast. Overall, I am very satisfied with this filter.

It does exactly as expected and doesn't scratch easily. I wanted it mostly to protect the lens and it does that and it also is a UV filter. works well. Canon Eos Rebel T2i

I was quite depressed as I walked into the store thinking I had cracked my lense. Camera in hand I'm looking to spend a couple hundred dollars. I ask for help from one of the team member at the store who very knowledgeable about photography. Low and behold, I did need a lense.I only needed a filter. It's was less than 20 dollars and easy to attach. Works great!

After looking at multiple prices on different websites/stores this is really good quality for fraction of the price. It also comes in a nice fitted plastic case with a small piece of foam so it closes tight and stays protected. I ended up going back to the store and buying the same brand for my other size lenses.

The lens filter is quick and easy to put on your camera and comes with a case to keep it scratch free when not in use. Also when the lens is in use, it can serve as an added layer of protection to keep your camera's lens scratch free.

I purchased this after the salesman recommended a not this exact filter, but that I purchase one. Initially I was a little like yeah, he's just trying to get me to purchase more...but I did eventually come around to purchasing it and I'm glad I did. I took some pics at home before going on a trip and used the camera with and without the filter. I did not notice any distortion or color variations. On my trip I did a lot of hiking. Two of my days of hiking were to waterfalls and geysers. The wind was ripping, the water spray was heavy and I did worry about the moisture with the camera. I had to wipe the lense frequently, and it was then that I realized I was really glad I bought the filter. I realised that if I wiped it and scratched it, it was not a big deal, I can replace the filter fairly cheaply, where if I scratched the actual lens I would be devistated. The picture quality was not changed in the least. Really glad I purchased it.

Really good not only for minimizing haze and glare for outdoor shots, but has the added bonus of protecting your lens. This was an open box purchase so it was a great "stock up" item to keep my lens in optimal shape and my outdoor shots looking awesome.

I bought a new nikon d3300 with 18-55mm lens. I chose this UV lens for the price and the quality. the diameter of my lens is 52mm but use a 58mm to make sure the UV lens filter does not come out in my pictures. at 18mm you sometimes get this dark ring around the borders of your pictures courtesy of the same size UV lens filter. A good investment as well. I heard a good point. Nikkor lenses as well as many other have a coating on the lens. They will get dirty and will need cleaning. After time this coating is removed giving your pictures unecessary addition to your pictures. This filter also protects this coating on your lenses from accidental scratches. Drops that might go lens first. If you crack a filter atleast you just replace a filter for a very small fraction of the cost of your lens.

I have always been pleased with Insignia products and this filter is no different. Good quality and a perfect fit to protect an expensive camera lens. I look forward to buying other Insignia filters.

I received this lens filter as part of the camera bundle. It works very good against protecting your lens from scratches and dirt.. as well as protecting against UV rays, glare, and haze.

This product is worth the 10ish dollars in order to product the lens. A scratch to your lens would cost much, more more! Easy to put on. Lens cap fits right over it.

I was worried it would affect exposures but it has been great. Also it is a UV filter a great for the safety of the lens and I will get another filter for my other lens.

No lens should be without a UV filter. This filter does a great job and the cost is very reasonable. Also an added protection for your lens against dust and scratches.

the product does protect the lens 55-300 mm from scratches. It protects greasy and dirty fingers from ruining an expensive lens such as my 55-100 mm zoom lens. It protects from ultra violet rays meaning filtering harmfull rays from ruining a perfect picture. The filter seems well constructed, it does look professional at a fraction of the price.I will recommend this to anyone looking for price and quality.

I would recommend these guys, mainly to protect your lenses. They may not do a ton more than that beyond how different your images will look, but it was well worth my money for piece of mind when shooting with expensive lenses.
