If you have small hands then this controller is surprisingly ergonomic. Buttons feel great and low travel time when using the D-Pad, which has a much more satisfying press than even the Pro Controller. The inclusion of the analog sticks are fantastic. Look and feel exactly like the PS4 DS4, and even in the same location. Very easy to pair with a Nintendo Switch and the included charge cable is an added bonus.

I initially bought this to play games on my new Surface when I'm out and about. It feels so right, that I use it with my Surface, Android phone, and Nvidia Shield. Great for retro and modern games. Connects easily and reliably. I plan to get a second controller to take with me for random 2-player gaming opportunities on the bus, lunch breaks, at the park.

The controller is amazing! The quality felt like the oem SNES controller as I still have my original controllers. The analog sticks feel like they were there all along, as well as the L2/R2 buttons! I use this on my Switch, phone, and am trying to figure out how to use on a PS4. The bad was I purchased one from Best Buy that said was Open Box Excellent Condition and included everything. This has never happened before but I guess an employee was feeling lazy and did not check the contents of the box. Luckily I have other USB-C cables. I cannot go to the store to return it and its a hassle online. I tried to call and the wait time was over two hours. So just be wary if you buy an open box controller that says everything is in there.

Great controller! I bought it for playing NES and SNES games on the Nintendo Switch. While the Pro controller is great for Switch games, it didn’t have the right feel for the older virtual console games. The 8BitDo did the trick. It’s not the cheapest thing out there, but the quality is top notch and the ‘button-feel’ is at least as good as the original system controllers. No lag, either. Battery life is also outstanding - I charge it every few days, but never seen it drop below 50%, even after hours of constant play.

I researched some pad for games and most of non brand is cheaper than 8bitdo controlller but most of a gamer recommended this controller for their emulator or platform. I tested this one for a few days and this one is for all my computer and emulator controller. First i used it for Amazon Firestick and it works but it wont work for retropie with usb wires. I checked official website and download the firmware to update it then it works well. I highly recommend this one for a retro gamer.

Can't say enough good things about this controller. It works great. The build quality is amazing and it fits in any bag you want to through it in. Turn it on and get it connected and the bluetooth works perfectly. I've never had any connectivity issues and the integration with Steam is perfect. Price is actually more than reasonable for the features and portability of this controller.

I love the feeling of the controller in my hand. It's built well enough that I felt comfortable letting my 6 year old play with it. There's a series of key combos that are used to pair the device to your computer or device. It works great. I'm a web designer and was able to use it to program a web game in my browser using chrome's controller API.

I bought this because my Wife enjoys the old school controllers with less buttons and it works great for that. Has a few additions like turbo and some trigger buttons that are important in newer consoles and held a charge for a long time. I recommend this if you want the convenience of a wireless controller but the nostalgia of older Nintendo controllers.

The SN30 and the SN30+ are amazing universal controllers with excellent build quality and comfort. I use my SN30+ on my PC, Switch, iPhone, AppleTV, and Playstation 4. I purchased two SN30s for my sons since they like to play games on their iPhones, Switches, and PCs. The SN30 servers as an easy to use and well built three in one solution!

I’ve had this for a while now and I love using it for games like smash or Zelda. It gives me nostalgic feelings. The battery life is good, and I actually prefer it to the pro controllers. I just kind of stumbled upon this while looking for graphics cards. It was tucked away in the back and I’m so glad I gave it a chance. It’s a little expensive.

Definitely feels like a SNES controller and the extra triggers, analog sticks, and wireless capabilities are a nice bonus. Connects right up with my Switch and is great to have around as a player 2 controller without shelling out $80 for joy cons.

I purchased this on my birthday and let my tell you it has replaced every controller it can in my home. I use it for every Switch and Pc game I play. It works just as well with games like Paper Mario: Origami King, Halo the Master Chief Collection for PC, and puts me back in the mind of classic games when using an emulator to play my backed up game boy advance games. If you're looking for a new controller, and trying to get away from the drifting issues of Nintendo's primary line of joy-cons and even pros, this controller, which does include motion, is the best replacement, at a better price point. PS this does work with iPhone and iPad if you use the accessibility function, it doesn't say it on the box but I use it this way regularly, google it!

This controller is a jack of all trades. It will work great for modern games on a Nintendo Switch, PC, and Nvidia Shield. The controller feels great in hands too. Has a familiar feel to it to those that have used controllers for the last decade on various consoles. I have medium large hands and the controllers feel good in hand. I thought it would feel way smaller than a regular sized controller. It doesnt feel too small. Its smaller but not by much. Buttons all feel solid and well made. No creaking on the body either. The only negative I can see is that sometimes reconnecting it can be tricky or even connection it for the first time. Its not always an automatic thing. You sometimes have to try multiple times. But for such a great product I can live with that.

8bitDo makes some good controllers. It feels pretty close to the original SNES controller and works great. Can be setup on android ios, mac, and windows as well as the switch to act like a pro controller. no complaints.

This was the first controller I bought after buying my Switch, Bought specifically for Tetris 99 and Super Mario Bros. but ended up using for more modern games. Very comfortable and battery lasts forever.

RETRO VIBES with a touch of modern (analog sticks). Makes playing switch so much fun, especially games like Mario Kart. Great quality, wireless, and the battery lasts loooooong.

This controller works great, no joy con drift! It’s smaller than your average current gen controller but still has a great feel. If you enjoyed using the SNES controller back in the day this is a must buy!

Great build quality and a solid, cheper alternative to the pro controller. The d-pad is perfect for 2D platformers. The portability is great, too.

I bought this and the adapter to use for the Nintendo switch. It feels like the original SNES controller and works perfectly for the SNES games I wanted it for.
