Yearly classic movie we watch every year and looks a lot better in blue ray.

This was a bad Mexican copy. We began to watch this classic and we're very disappointed to find out that the audio and video we're not in sync. Just like watching an old karate movie. I'm sending back.

Own this digitally and it is played on TNT or USA for 24 hours every Christmas, but just wanted to own a physical copy of it for when all goes digital, and don't want to be held to miss it because someone's licensing expired. Also one of the greatest Christmas movies, Period.

When the film first came out in 1983 Jean Shepherd's Xmas film was not very successful. But after going to video and holiday broadcasts it became a classic. A kid in 1940's Indiana wants a Red Ryder 200-shot BB gun, and the adventures begin! You'll meet some of the funniest characters along the way! Most of you have probably seen the film already, but in Blu-Ray the film stands out.

What more can be said about this timeless classic. The story about Christmas that will be told back to back to back over 24 hours on Christmas Day for a very long time. The special features are great, I love commentary and Ralphie and the director are very informative. Who doesn't love this movie?! (my soon to be wife, that's who ...but the kids love it!) Thank you!

I can see how this has become a classic. Somehow I missed that happening for me when this originally came out to the theaters. I was 14 at the time and wasn't interested in the story back then. I purchased this winter of 2018 and have to say that it is a funny, heartwarming and nostalgic inducing movie.

Not that it can't be found on an all-day marathon around the holidays, my copy of this movie was a VHS tape. It's one of the few things that I still used my VCR for. It is nice to have it on disc, and it is enjoyable to see the movie in its wide screen format. Great price made it a good time to upgrade.

I don't know how else to say it except that this is the best Christmas story ever. I watch it every year. Often several times a year. I own line 3 copies of this on DVD, and when I found it on Blue Ray, I had to have it! What are you waiting for? Buy it and watch it now!!!!

Im not a huge fan of this movie but all my family members are so I added it to the collection. When family comes over during the holidays they’re always glad I have it. Therefore I had to give it 5 stars. It keeps the whole family entertained while im doing other things!

One of the quintessential movies to watch at Christmas time regardless your age. Fun to introduce to kids and for adults who have always watched it since they were kids. This will be a DVD you buy years later after you wear it out.

We already owned the DVD but wanted the blu ray and thank you Best Buy for having a great deal

My wife and I did not see this movie as kids, but really enjoyed watching it this Christmas season! Got it for a great price during Black Friday as well! Best Buy is the best place to go for Black Friday movie deals!!!

One of the best Christmas classic movies of all time that can be watched over and over.

For anyone who grew up during this era or after, this movie is for you! Whether youve seen it before or have yet to experience the genius of this flick...it’s a guarantee for that nostalgic feeling we all grave!

Never saw this movie until I purchased it due to a friend, it's truly a great story with funny moments and a heart felt lesson in the end for the little boy. A most for everyone to at least see it once...

Made over three decades ago this movie shows its age, but it looks probably as good as its going to get on blu-ray. If you don't already have it on blu-ray it's definitely worth the upgrade for under $10.

I was disappointed that it didn't come with a digital code, but vudu has this program if you scan the barcode at home in the app you can buy it for like 3 dollars so that solved that problem

You can’t have a collection of movies about this one. From the Chinese dinner scene to the leg lamp sceen, it is filled with laughter and fun. You’ll shoot your eye out if you don’t get this one. :-)

There is not much more to say about this movie. One of the greatest Christmas movies ever. It has my utmost praise and love for this movie. I am now 44 and still love it as much as when I was a child.
