Got this for my brother as a Christmas gift. Got one for myself while I was at it. We always loved the original movie so this one should be great too.

Since A Christmas Story is one of my favorite holiday films decided to get this movie.

Great movie so true to the original film. Awesome for family night

"A Christmas Story" has been my favorite Christmas movie for over 20 years. This is a pretty good sequel (much better than "A Christmas Story 2"; don't bother). Plenty of nods to the orignal but stands on it's own. Most of the orignal cast is back and it was like catching up with old friends. Watched it last year on MAX and was anxious to get a physical copy. Pre-ordered with Best Buy and, aside from a slight delay in delivery, everything went well. My only complaint, and this has more to do with Warner Brothers, is why do BluRay or 4K discs for this movie? OR will they come out later to double dip into ACS fan's wallets?

I love the first one, so when I saw the original actors back for this sequel. I had to have it!! It is a great addition to my Christmas Movie collection!! a new Holiday tradition!!
