I loved watching this film. It was very interesting and well produced. Tom Hanks was excellent in his performance. The cinematography was excellent and I appreciated the film location and geography.Worth watching!

"A Hologram for the King" stars Tom Hanks as an American salesman who travels to Saudi Arabia to sell a holographic teleconferencing system to the Saudi government. His character name is "Alan Clay" and he's at a time in his life when everything is going wrong. Set in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the scenery is mesmerizing and the chemistry is spectacular between Hanks and his talented female co-star. Definitely worth seeing!

I thought this was a very good movie. My wife on the other hand did not get the message it was trying to tell. It's now one of my favorite Tom Hanks films.

When I saw the trailer for this movie, I was hooked based on the storyline. After viewing the movie, the storyline was deeper than I could ever imagine.

Not your typical Tom Hanks movie. It had nudity! I thought it was interesting mainly for its peek at life in Saudi Arabia. Not something you see much.

I enjoy Tom Hanks. A salesman who is not that satisfied with his life but trying to put a happy face forward. Another good job of acting by Tom.

My wife and I watched this and although it is not a great "Epic" movie, it was entertaining and we enjoyed the departure from the norm.

Honestly if I could give the film 5 stars I would as Tom Hanks delivers his signiture amazing performance. However the film, meaning the story, script... I mean this story was rather dull. Typical American Small business going after a lucrative Arabic contract in the broiling middle east only to be jerked around by the royalty that runs the country. The side story between Tom Hanks & the oppressed female doctor gave more interesting dialog with yet some rather gross physical ailments that could easily have been changed to something that didn't make you want to stop eating! I watch all my films on a 180" screen with projector giving an IMAX feeling at home. There was nothing about the sound that stood out. Picture quality was amazing! The director did a great job of making the King and his subordinated look like a bunch or rich jerks, and to top it off the ending of the deal only adds to the frustration. I often wondered while placing this film in the section that's dedicated for films to only be watched maybe once every 10+ years, if the director meant to take such a brilliant actor and make him appear.... Nevermind, I don't recommend. Im sorry. Everytime I think back on this film I get frustrated.

Tom Hanks! What else needs to be said! The movie was really good. I'm glad I finally got to see. I would definately recommend it.

Tom Hanks, is a great actor, I have enjoyed all his movies, although this one is not terrible, there is not major plot.

This movie works because Tom Hanks is such a great actor, the plot is a little lacking but I enjoyed it nonetheless

Didn't expect much from this film from the start. But Hanks does a fine job in this indie piece.

Not bad Movie little slow but Tom Hanks gives a good performance worth price if under $10.00

This won't be for everyone, but if you want a different role for Tom Hanks...here it is.

Outstanding movie and beautiful locations serve as a backdrop to a unique story that crosses cultures. A fine performance by Tom Hanks and a well-rounded supporting cast. Excellent comic beats by the actress Christy Meyer who plays the character of Cayley.

It was still an engrossing movie. The comedic moments were a welcome feature.

I enjoyed this movie. It is a human interest story, about culture and life.

good movie, Hanks is good in his role, but would not watch again
