Thou have a bit of a reputation for doing Nirvana covers, even releasing of a full album of them titled Blessings of the Highest Order during the height of quarantine. The infamously ravenous Thou fans were stuck in their rooms, drinking every drop and begging for more and just their luck the band decided to a full-length compilation of their non-Nirvana covers they recorded and released from 2009-2022. All of the songs on A Primer of Holy Words appeared on limited pressings of various split EPs and benefit compilations. The range of bands being covered is wide Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains from abandoned tribute projects; Born Against from a small press European compilation; Ginger Quail, an obscure New Orleans punk band from the late 90s; and so on. Regardless of their standing in the civilian world, all of these bands and songs have had a strong imprint on Thou- much more so than InchsludgeInch or metal in general or Inchthe swampInch of New Orleans. New Noise Magazine described some of the tracks saying InchThey've got a Black Sabbath 'Sweet Leaf' cover that they've dirtied up to the point where it sounds like a High on Fire original, a blackend-sludge version of Born Against's 'Well Fed F**k,' a bewitched version of Pearl Jam's 'Spin the Black Circle,' and an appropriately gross and desperate cover of Shellac's 'Prayer to God.' It's as good or better than their Nirvana album imho.Inch And while the mentioned tracks will be on the vinyl version sans InchSweet LeafInch it will have a different track list from 2020's digital including a cover of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's iconic track InchMapsInch. This collection includes artwork from former New Orleans -now Mexico Cityartist Rachel Speck from her Tropical Goth imprint Album Tracks 1. Introduction 2. Prayer to God 3. Spin the Black Circle 4. Vinyl LP pressing. Beach House is Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally. Depression Cherry is their fifth full-length record. This record follows the of their self-titled album in 2006, Devotion in 2008, Teen Dream in 2010 and Bloom in 2012. Depression Cherry was recorded at Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, Louisiana from November2014 through January '15. According to the band, the album is a return to the simpler style of dream pop from their first two albums. InchIn general, this record shows a return to simplicity, with songs structured around a melody and a few instruments, with live drums playing a far lesser role. With the growing success of Teen Dream and Bloom, the larger stages and bigger rooms naturally drove us towards a louder, more aggressive place; a place farther from our natural tendencies. Here, we continue to let ourselves evolve while fully ignoring the commercial context in which we exist.Inch Album Tracks 1. Levitation 2. Sparks 3. Space Song 4. Beyond Love 1. 10 37 2. PPP 3. Wildflower 4. Bluebird 5. Days of Candy

2003 LP reissue on 140-gram vinyl. Breaking away from his alt. Country sound, Adams tunes into a pop and rock sound from the 1970s. In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, his song InchNew York, New YorkInch took on new meaning from a lovelorn song to a swaggering song about resilience that hit big on the air waves and MTV. Adams pays homage to his favorite artists from the '70s, and the influences of Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Van Morrison and Elton John are pretty clear. This 3-time Grammy nominated album was originally intended as a double album, but the tag at the time cut it down and gave out a bonus 5-song CD to a limited number of fans. This reissue makes it a true double album with 21 songs pressed into 140-gram vinyl. Lost Highway Records. Album Tracks 1. New York, New York 2. Firecracker 3. Answering Bell 4. Cienega Just Smiled 5. Rescue Blues 6. Somehow, Someday 1. When the Stars Go Blue 2. Nobody Girl 3. Sylvia Plath 4. Enemy Fire 5. Gonna Make You Love Me 1. Wild Flowers 2. Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression. This LP version comes pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Album Tracks 1. My Own Summer (Shove It) 2. Lhabia 3. Mascara 4. Around the Fur 5. Rickets 6. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) 7. Lotion 8.
