About Schmidt [Blu-ray] [Standard]

Warren Schmidt (Nicholson) is about to taste a not so sweet slice of life. When he retired, he and his wife Helen had big plans, but an unexpected twist changed everything. Now, all of Schmidt's attention is focused his daughter's upcoming wedding to a loser waterbed salesman. From meeting hippie parents to sponsoring a Tanzanian foster child, Schmidt embarks on a search for answers...and discovers that life is full of trick questions.

Hugh Grant (Notting Hill) is simply brilliant in the comedy hit About a Boy, based on the best-selling book by Nick Hornby. Will Freeman (Grant) is a good-looking, smooth-talking bachelor whose primary goal in life is avoiding any kind of responsibility. When he invents an imaginary son in order to meet attractive single mothers, Will gets a hilarious lesson about life from a bright, but hopelessly geeky, 12-year-old named Marcus. Now, as Will struggles to teach Marcus the art of being cool, Marcus teaches Will that you're never too old to grow up. Co-starring Rachel Weisz (The Mummy) and Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine), About a Boy is an irresistible romantic comedy that Time Magazine calls 'smart, funny and winsome'.
