Bought for my 5th grader as a replacement for his 10” Chromebook that has since been passed down to his younger brother. Big, bright 15” display and ready to rock right out of the box. It’s perfect for distance learning and just enough for his needs for the next couple years. Best bang for your buck.

I bought it so I could work on my google docs and writing without being distracted by other things. It works pretty good, but it has crashed once all ready. It appears to crash when you click along the edge of the screen(?) None of the apps have a scroll bars down the side so you NEED to purchase a mouse to go with this otherwise you can not scroll through anything. With a mouse and not clicking on the edge, the chrome book works for what I need it for and for a $100 cyber Monday deal, it's not a bad buy.

I am new to the Chromebook world but have lots of laptop experience with windows. I made the leap when I seen the price tag. I simply asked myself could I do what I need to do on a Chromebook? It's just that simple. I purchased a flash drive and that was it. For under $200 you will get almost everything you need and for some of us, it IS everything we need. My company is switching over to Chromebooks and we have about 4,000 employees. It is cost effective and production will probably improve since our company uses chrome with all the Google stuff. Thanks BB & Acer.

This is exactly what I expected. Great quality! I would recommend this. We use it for distance learning during Covid 19z

It is good laptop for school work now with the kids being out of school. The camera is okay. Just sign in to your google account and start working on it.

I'm not a computer savvy person. I just needed something I could work online with and this Chromebook was perfect. I was debating between this one and another brand with a smaller screen. I went with the larger screen. So easy to set up and start using immediately! And I couldn't beat the price. I did buy a wireless mouse because I don't like using the track pads.

I wanted a new laptop for less than $200 that would be fast, have a long lasting battery and enable my to use Google apps primarily. I wanted a larger screen and did not care about it being a touch screen. My needs are simple, but this Chromebook meets them perfectly. I did save my old, slow laptop in case I want to use other software (i.e. taxes, for example) not web based - since I cannot do that with the Chromebook. I also added an SD Memory card for extra storage, just in case. Coming from a Windows OS environment, it did take a bit getting used to the Chrome OS, but it is easy. On the keyboard, the CAPS LOCK button on the left is not there and instead there is the SEARCH button. I'm still not used to that, but it's a minor issue. I like that I can easily take a screen shot using keyboard shortcuts. Whenever I don't know how to do something, I just Google it and figure it out.

I this laptop for my daughter an her birthday. For what it is a simple reasonably priced laptop to surf the web and do schoolwork, school project, watch YouTube and whatever kids are into these days it’s great. Big screen, fast enough, easy to use! Great price and my kid loves it.

This is a great laptop. Lightweight, battery last a long time and its a full screen size. Takes a little getting used to from windows or Linux OS, but is easy to use.

With schools shut down and everything moving to online home schooling, I figured it was necessary to get a Chromebook for my kid. In general, it is so user friendly. Easy to navigate and has great audio for the Zoom/Google video chats. Battery life is pretty decent and so is the processor speed. Highly recommend if you're on a budget. I just don't like that it doesn't have a scroll bar on the digital mousepad.

If you are... A.) A child under 12 that wants to do online classwork, watch tacky YouTube videos, and play Roblox all day. B.) A senior citizen who just wants to browse the web and do basic functions or even watch Netflix. C.) A teen or adult who want basic functions like checking email, watch Netflix, browse the web, social media etc, or even typing functions. This will work and is well worth the price of admission. It's fast and stable. If you are... A.) A child or adult that is into gaming or want to play something heavier than Roblox or basic application based games. B.) A child, adult, or senior that wants to run intensive applications that require heavy hardware. C.) A technophile in general... This will NOT work for you, it was NOT built for you...please stop buying it and complaining that a $225 laptop is not meeting your expectations.

Purchased a couple of them for our kids who almost use them exclusively for school and homework. The widescreen, simple form factor, processing speed, and being light weight met all of our criteria.

My old tower finally gave out after many years of working great ...Said it needed to have a Hard drive replaced ,soo I bought this for a portable extra computer to play on while my faster old HP tower is repaired...I found out after buying a HP Laptop with the Window 10 S mode that won't let you install flash player I needed this Chromebook & had no problem installing it for playing games..Works great for the price I got it for on the deal of the day ...Thanks Again Best Buy & for you & the Geek's for helping me

I bought this machine (at a good price!) to handle the everyday stuff like checking mail and videos. I use the MacBook for bigger projects like video editing and live streaming. I read the critics who didn't like the screen quality, and it's true this machine doesn't impress in that area. I also found scrolling down the page something I had to get used to. But these are proving to be small drawbacks overall. The audio power really surprised me. I can hear these speakers booming almost anywhere I am in the house. If I'm watching a webinar I can walk away for a second and not miss anything or need speakers or buds. And, the battery life has been very good. I find myself bringing this machine along to coffee shops every week. The expansive screen helps me with writing blog posts and such. It's my first Chromebook and I would recommend it for someone with similar needs.

This is a great computer! I feel like it is a good value for the money, but it is heavy. The speed and efficiency are good! The screen size is good too but it makes the computer heavier.

Perfect for my youngest to keep up with school during the 2020 quarantine lockdown. Its plenty fast enough for kids, has a big screen and hours, if not days of battery life.

I like the size and everything else about the chromebook, but the main reason I bought it was to use for online classes and somehow google seems to be incompatible with zoom. The camera works for videochat so I know that is not the issue.
