I bought this on sale in July of 2018 to get back into gaming with my friends. I had read about this model for a bit over a week and knew what to expect, great CPU/GPU, speedy and fairly spacious SSD, only single channel memory so I can upgrade to 16 later, an empty 2.5” bay for expansion, and a decent 1080 IPS wrapped in a clean designed case. Notebookcheck has a very thorough review that left nothing to guess. Excellent performance, great graphics at full resolution, good thermals, decent battery life. The only shortcoming, to be fair I knew to expect at this price was the backlight bleed. And it’s prone to fingerprints on the lid I really do enjoy this laptop and recommend it to anyone who games, goes to school, and can deal with some backlight bleed.

Got a great deal on this laptop at $650. The quad core I5 and 1050Ti are a great pairing and can handle most games at high settings. The panel could be a bit better but isn't terrible. It tends to get a little warm in intense games, but haven't had issues with throttling so far. It's all plastic, but nice build quality. Good features and performance from an entry level gaming laptop.

The Acer Nitro 5 provides a great laptop for the price. It handles everything I’ve thrown at it with medium to high settings at 60fps (1080p). Upgrading the RAM and adding a HD for storage was simple. If you are looking for best bang for you buck, the Acer Nitro series is the way to go.

I got this laptop to take with me on the road simply to get into WoW and several other games just to do mail and run the simplest of dailies. Imagine my surprise when it ran these games as well as my older but still high end desktop. And its now on sale for even less than what I paid now. If you are looking for decent portable gaming with out breaking the bank, this machine is worth a good look!

Not a bad buy on sale a few quirks keyboard is backlit and dark red/orange cant leave it on when unplugged no way to control on of for it off all by itself wouldn't be bad if it wasn't so dark that you cant see the keys overall I would give this a 3.5 if I could

A good bang for your buck in terms of a “cheaper” gaming laptop. I play the Sims 3 and 4 flawlessly but I will say the battery dies very quickly when playing any type of game.

This is a fantastic value. I haven't had many complaints. Mostly only that the cover does get covered in finger prints easily. Operational no issues and has run everything I've thrown at it.

This is a sweet little gaming rig. My son is stoked to get it. Price was good enough to allow me to get several accessories to go with it to round out his laptop setup. He is already owning people in Fortnight as we speak. Excellent features for the price.

I use this laptop to play modern games with the lowest setting possible. I’m pleased with it so far. After 2 years, it still holds up very well. For school works, it does everything I need.

I got this laptop for 600 and at that price made it the easiest choice for affordable pc gaming right now. No problems with it however I did add an additional hdd. Plays for honor and battlefield 1 at mid level graphics.

This is a exceptional laptop at its price point. I was looking for a budget laptop for my son to do mild gaming. All were in the 700 range. Found this with decent specs and a little money less. Makes it a great find

This computer isn't top of the line but it wasn't meant to be. It is excellent at this price point and works really well for my Steam games. (For disclosure I don't play hardcore graphic intense games on this)

The laptop is heavier than most that I looked at, but for the performance and style I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an entry-level gaming laptop

In my opinion this is the best laptop for $599. Considering it has a 1050ti. This is coming from a PC builder with a Ryzen 1700X and GTX 1080 liquid custom loop at the house. I picked this up for my 2 month vacation to Deleware and I've been very satisfied with the performance playing newer games like AC Origins and Far Cry 5 on ultra settings at 1080p with decent framerates.

For the price of this laptop I'm very happy with the performance characteristics and look and feel of the product. Would definitely recommend.

This has been a great gaming computer. It has many hours of use and still runs like new. A great buy for any gamer.

Can run most modern games on medium-high settings 60fps when plugged in. CPU runs below 1Ghz on battery and turbo boosts up to 3.1-3.5Ghz when plugged in. Only complaint is that I had to unscrew the RAM cover and screw it back it in to get the laptop to stop shutting down randomly. Thought it was defective at first but I think the RAM screw is connected to the power in someway so it needs to be tight.

This laptop has got to be the best buy I have done! Great performance awesome graphics card with a healthy cpu.

Dont listen to the complainers,the whiners.this is a solid product for the price point.u usually dont get a 1050 ti for 650.best nuy ships fast too.not like amazon.amazon will rear end you.if your looking for a solid laptop on a budget,dont hesitate.i set mine up in 45 mins ,was playing fallout4 in no time.
