A: Yes, you can use an ACER-UC303 adapter with a compatible USB-C cable to extend your screen on the Acer Chromebook Plus 514, provided you have the correct type of adapter/cable and the external monitor has the necessary input port.

Q: Does this work to send video from late model iPhone to tv

A: It does but not in the format that works with the tv. I had to return and get the Belkin one instead. Probably works well to a MacBook, but not for streaming to a tv.
