I'm coming from using Cyberlink's PowerDirector 9. I have a day job but hope to one day break into video editing professionally and concluded that using a product that the pros used would be my next best step to achieving this goal. The Adobe CC has a tremendous amount of depth and I've only scratched the surface. To be fair if you're a beginner you have a lot of tutorial resources on youtube and on adobe's site to learn from but the learning curve can be steep if you don't know the terminology hence me only giving this 4 stars. But essentially, the sky is the limit. Your imagination and level of determination will determine how good this software is. Also note you need a high end PC with a dedicated video card to get the most out of this software otherwise you will spend a large amount of your time generating the output files.

I won't go into everything I do with all of the products available, but just as a recap: you will receive (after verification of student status) the ENTIRE Adobe Cloud suite of programs. I find myself using certain software more than others, but anything you could possibly need to do will be a breeze with the tools at your disposal. The price is a bit steep, but its a real bargain compared to the $60+ you could be spending without the student discount. Great product!

Great product, they should lower the price and extend the license for a longer period of time.

Even though it is pricey it is worth it. Has everything offered by Adobe.

I was hesitant to upgrade from CS5 because of the cost, but the CC programs are cleaner, have nice new features, and are a step up from CS5 in my opinion. The updates also keep it running perfectly.

I have bought this 3 years in a row now. As a student on Financial Aid, this year-long subscription makes it possible for me to do my coursework from home instead of going to the school computer lab. I appreciate the option to pre-pay for the entire year, rather than a monthly subscription, which fits my needs in a much better way. Obviously the software itself is world-class and industry-standard and doesn't need to be reviewed.

I purchased the Adobe Creative Cloud Student version for my school projects. It is very useful, and I like it a lot.

I purchased this software for my daughter taking Graphic Design classes in college. She loves it! Says it makes her work much easier to have her own software so she can do her work anywhere.

I give a 3 rating because I am rating Adobe on charging annually and not offer purchase of a product. School requires two items in the creative cloud, so I will be renting them for five years and spend over $ 1,600 and own nothing. Best buy offers the product at the industry price and you have assurance you are getting a legal access. Best buy rates a 5.

Item came just as described. Shipment was fast. I just scratched off the code on the back and was able to get my year of Adobe Products. The only downside is that you still have to provide a credit card number to Adobe when registering. You will need to stay on top of your renewal date. If you need to cancel and you forget, Adobe will charge you automatically for another year.

I'm glad that the annual price for Adobe CC is going down at places like Best Buy. It's an extremely expensive membership, but because I rely heavily on Photoshop for illustrating my kids' book and because I use Adobe Acrobat for teaching, it's become essential. That said, I don't use all the other programs much so the price still seems like overkill. What I'm saying here is nothing new, I know, but as long as Adobe continues to improve its programs—making Photoshop for iPad Pro available soon—I'll probably be stuck paying for this membership for many years.

I have always loved adobe. Great software. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm not a huge fan of the cloud. Went to print some illustrator images today with no internet connection and it changed my font because the majority of the fonts are saved to the cloud, not the computer
