This is a great program that does all it says and more. I was hesitant to purchase it because I had been using a very old version and didn't know if I would like the changes. Loads easy, requires registration with Adobe but that is a good thing. It makes more items available to you in their help and downloads section on their website. The program itself is a bit confusing at first unless you know PSE before you start. However, there are numerous tutorials online to help you. When searching for tutorials look for ones on PSE 11 and above. Otherwise you will be confused and frustrated. Only con is the actual work area is smaller than previous versions but the pros far out weigh that.

I used this software for making calendars for the individual windows you can make for the dates to put personal photos for birthdays and anniversaries. So easy to do and does a great job. Even for scrapbooking design pages for your scrapbook, or making cards.

I found that you can do most of the popular effects and with ease. I brought this product over the Holidays and got a great price. Defiantly recommend this product.

Update to version 13 adds more help for less experienced users but maintains all of the features of previous versions. This version supports Camera Raw 9.2 which means my new Sony RX100M4 RAW files can now be read by PSE. The main reason for upgrading (in addition to the new RAW support), is the fine selection tool that allows you to select/crop finer details (like hair) from a photo. Program seems to be as fast as version 13 and runs well.

The program was easy to install on my PC. The tutorials are helpful. I read the reviews before purchasing. The sale price of the program prompted me to finally make the purchase. I'm still learning how to use the program and all the features.

I have enjoyed learning this program but it has so much in it, I have a lot more to learn. I have edited pictures which needed to be lighter or darker in appearance as well as I have removed unwanted objects in pictures. Of course patience is needed to just sit and work with the program and experiment.

Adobe has some wonderful programs, this is certainly one of them! Easy to use, great way to edit and create - overall a very good product as I expected it to be.

Really like Photoshop 14. Easy to use Lots of new features. Getting to the point that PSE can do just about anything Photoshop can do.

Photoshop is like a full supermarket. Many of the items in it you may not use, and may never need. This is a slimmed down version which is much easier to use with less bells and whistles. Also a good way to get into learning PS without a HUGE investment of $$

If you love photoshop but don't want to spend big bucks or subscription prices then this is it. It has it all. So glad I came across this. I tried DarkRoom and it was not what I wanted. This product is all I need and then some.

Adobe Photoshop software has always been at the top of my list of best software photo editing available. This was on sale plus if you purchased it with the laptop I ordered you could get an additional discount. What a deal!! Thank you Best Buy. I am enjoying it.

I have been using Photoshop Elements 8, since it came out and loved it. I got a new MacBook for Xmas and needed new software. The photo editor is great. It is plenty powerful for the basic to semi-advanced photo editing that I do. The interface has changed some compared to what I had been using, but all in all I like it. The organizer, though, is really complex. It is slow, and really not intuitive at all. The face recognition tool is pretty cool though. I definitely recommend the editor, but not sure if I'll keep using the organizer.

Overall it is a good product for editing pictures. Does take some time learning the product capabilities and could be a bit more intuitive, but easy to use once you catch onto it.

It's not a professional software by any means but it does get you started. My wife and I are going to take a class also on how to do more editing.

Provides an excellent platform to create amazing photos without having to invest in the annual subscription for the full Adobe Photoshop version.

I received this software as a Christmas gift and so far it's been fairly easy to use. I had an older version of this software and this current version seems pretty straight forward

Elements has always been the consumer version of Photoshop, not as many features, not integrated into the professional Adobe Creative Suite. That said, it's basically more powerful than an older version of Photoshop, and lets you own a stand-alone version rather than paying for cloud service. 14 has some clever functions geared toward cellphone cameras, acknowledging the shift to that kind of image capture rather than traditional digital SLRs. One warning, you'll need a minimum of Windows 7 OS.
