Six years and five albums after their debut, Van Halen had become one of the biggest bands in world around the of 1984, which includes a number of the band’s most legendary songs such as the #1 hit, InchJumpInch, InchPanamaInch and InchHot For Teacher.Inch Mastering engineer Chris Bellman, who re-mastered the original albums at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios, was enlisted for this new version. CD reissue. A 1993 recording from the iconic Marquee Club in Soho, London, featuring LaBrie, Myung, Portnoy and Petrucci in their usual roles but with Kevin Moore on keyboards. What really stands out on this live recording is the incredible sound quality, which really captures the scope of Mike Portnoy's amazing drumming (the depth of his drumkit sound) and James LaBrie's fantastic voice. This has to be the best live recording in terms of James' voice ever. One track stands out like none other, InchAnother Hand-The Killing HandInch. This song is excellently written, but a combination of mediocre singing and fuzzy production makes the original somewhat tame.
