Let’s talk about this little green packet of magic, the affresh disposal cleaner, if you're like me, you probably don’t think much about your garbage disposal until it starts smelling like last week’s leftovers, that’s where this cleaner comes in, it's supposed to clean out the gunk and leave your disposal smelling like a daisy, or at least not like garbage. **EASE OF USE** Using this is a no brainer, uou don’t need to be a rocket scientist or plumber, just tear open a packet, drop it in the disposal, let the water run, and flip the switch, it’s kind of fun watching it foam up and do its thing, it’s like a mini volcano erupting in your sink, without the whole destroying everything part, obviously. **EFFECTIVENESS** Now let's get down to brass tacks, does it work? I was a lil skeptical but this thing actually does the job, after a quick session, my sink went from smelling like a dumpster to no scent at all, it didn't just mask the smell with perfumes, it was like it genuinely scrubbed the stench away, I mean, it didn't make my disposal brand new or anything, but the difference was pretty clear, the old onion and garlic symphony was gone. **SCENT** So, about the smell of the cleaner itself, it's got this citrusy vibe going on, it's not like you've just walked into an orchard or anything, but it's pleasant and not too in your face, it's like a subtle hint of lemon or something, doesn't linger too long, which is good ‘cause I don't want my coffee tasting like lemons in the morning. **VALUE** Money wise, it's a good deal, it’s not gonna break the bank, when you think about the cost of calling a plumber, this is a no brainer, I don't need to use it super often, so I get my money's worth. **COMPARISON** I've tried a few of these disposal cleaners, and let's just say, not all are created equal, some are like tossing a mint in a landfill and hoping for the best. But Affresh? It holds its own, it doesn't just perfume the air, it gets down to the nitty gritty. **CONCLUSION** Wrapping it up, would I grab it off the shelf again? Yeah, I would, it does the dirty work so I don't have to stick my hand down the sink (which, come on, no one wants to do). If your disposal is getting a bit ripe, give this a whirl. **RATING** I'm giving this a solid 4.7 out of 5 stars. It won’t fix your life or your pipes if they're really shot, but for keeping things fresh and clean on the regular? Affresh is your best bud, it's good stuff and I would recommend.

Im not familiar with this product. But i thought i try it to see how it performs. I was very pleased with out come. Smells good too

I gave this product 3 stars because the price was more affordable than others and it was easy enough to use. And even though it did get rid of some of the smell from my disposal, I don’t think it cleaned my disposal enough because when I used it there was no foaming action at all and I didn’t really smell the citrus scent of the product.

I think they changed the formula or my disposal is way cleaner than it used to be. I used to get a lot more foam when adding then I do now. Still a solid product for preventing your sink from becoming smelly. I wish they did include more than 3 in a package.

You should use it for the regular maintenance for the kitchen sink to keep it clean.

Easy to use, smells great, lots of foam that comes up into the sink. Definitely feel like they clean better than other brands I've tried.

Who knew there was such a thing as garbage disposal cleaner besides those little plink things you drop in while you run the water and the disposal? This stuff is a deep cleaner that foams up and gets into all the nooks and crannies of the deep dark dirty disposal. Works well. Removes odors too.

This disposal cleaner works really well. It removes odors quickly and leaves the kitchen sink smelling clean and fresh. Very easy to use — just drop it in and run the disposal. I noticed a big difference right away. Great product to keep on hand!

Works very well. Very easy to use. Does the job. I also use another brand that has far more foam and takes a little longer when using. This one is good but I think the other brand keeps the disposal smelling fresh a little longer. However, I'd buy this again.
