Wrong version show in search results.
I searched for AOE 2 definitive and this one poped up. It didn't even say that search did not find what i was looking for but found "this". I guess my fault that i was so exited (ppl who know AOE2 would totally understand the excitement), that i bought it and realized something is wrong as soon as i started it up. I should have just got it from amazon.

Offline population limit, will need a increase
I'm an avid lover of all version of AOE. When compared to AOE 2 and other previous versions, I feel this version is a let down. It has less options for the offline game plays, supporting population limit to 50, better to have them as 200. Can't be searching for players to be available in online all the time. So the offline population limit will need an increase and am expecting it to evolve better in the coming days.

not improved
The movement in this game is downright stubborn, (not improved at all, worse possibly) and troop stances are temporary at best, your archers will not stand their ground, they will get themselves killed chasing after whatever. Mangonels are lethal to your own troops and again, there is no way to set them on stand down stance, as soon as they are done crushing a building, they fire on anything nearby, regardless of your own troop location, killing dozens. The scenarios are a little pedantic... I give this game a "meh."

okay game, miss the old one
It is okay, but I find the older games better. I wish that you could build your army more, more upgrades, better graphics, but for $20, it is still a good fun game.
