The Aiper Pilot X1 is an excellent handheld pool vacuum. Right out of the box, it was easy to assemble—just two simple pieces to put together. I plugged it in to charge, and it was ready to go within an hour. I use it for my inground saltwater pool, and it easily replaced my old creepy crawler. It cleans the entire pool in about five minutes and picks up everything from shingle roof granules to leaves and bugs at the bottom. The filter and basket are also very easy to clean, which makes maintenance a breeze. It’s powerful, efficient, and simple to use. While it works great for my saltwater pool, it would also be a great addition to any chlorine pool. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

Excellent suction strength and maneuverability. Pole not nearly long enough to reach the middle of a medium-size pool. So a full pool cleaning is not practical. Works best as touchup at deep end after sweeping and also to clean steps.

I’m a CPO and was in need of a handheld vacuum. This is by far one of the best tools for my line of work. Very easy setup and works fantastic specially for tough to reach areas.

This works great for our hot tub! Our previous cleaner was a bit too big and was hard to get to fully clean the seats. With this being smaller, it’s gets all the grass, etc that ends up in the hottub.

Very cheaply made. It doesnt pick up fine particles on pool floor, just recirculates them back through the outlet in the vac. For a 27 foot above ground pool, it would take many hours to clean as it has a very narrow cleaning path. A scrub brush would help.
