Crafted for big & tall, this chair combines AKRacing's best-selling looks with XL parts. It features an extra wide frame and a wide flat seat for comfort. An upgraded mechanism and gaslift with true 400 lb. weight rating add to both, performance and reliability. Max also boasts AKRacing's renowned automotive grade polyurethane leather upholstery, all-metal frame, 100% cold-cure foam padding and user-adjustable headrest and lumbar support pillows for ergonomic seating. All of that functionality sits atop a high tensile strength aluminum base and large casters.
Q: I want to know if this chair is wide?
A: I would say yes it is wide and is a good chair if you have a bigger body. Im 5'5 320 lbs big hips and was concerned because it states its 15 inches wide, but its 23 and 1/2 at the widest point. I'll add a photo with some measurements that might be helpful in determining if this is something you want to get or not (give or take a 1/2 inch on some). Hope this helps! Cheers!
A: 19.4" - 23.5" (you'll sink up to to 1" in to the seat keep that in mind.
Q: do any of these chairs rock?
A: They have a release that will allow minimal rocking. They do not rock like a rocking chair would but they do have the typical release mechanics of most office chairs.
Q: what is the weight capacity?
A: 400 pounds, per the manufacturer. I clock in a little over 300 and it has not once creaked, bent etc.
Q: Are the extra cushions, at the top and bottom, removable?
A: If you mean the lumbar support and or neck support, yes, but you should try them, they are very comfortable.
A: Yes the Arm rest move up and down also swivel left and right
A: Hi Cor55. I'm not sure if this is the same as you have had with the other chair you are referring to but you can use the tilt lock function on the Max Gaming Chair to tilt and then lock the front of the seat in an upward position.
