Once I got used to that, it wasn’t a big issue. One other thing to consider is size. It’s a little large for a small apartment kitchen, but if you have decent cupboard or counter space, it’s definitely a fun appliance for both kids and adults. Overall, I’m really happy with it and look forward to trying more recipes.

This ice cream maker seems to be well made and delivered some tasty results. There was a learning curve in regards to the recipes we used. Different combinations of ingredients and freezer time produce different results. Our favorite so far is using just chocolate milk to produce what tastes just like a Wendy's Frosty, even the texture was identical. You have to freeze your concoction prior to using this machine. So, don't expect instant gratification. It's worth the wait!
