Purchased this for my dad. He has trouble working smartphones, so I found this one for him. This phone is great. It's basic and very easy for him to use, the keypad has large numbers so he can see them well and it has good sound. He has hearing problems and he has no trouble at all hearing on this phone, it's loud and clear. Highly recommend it for elderly or just someone who wants a good basic phone.

Purchased this phone for 90 year old who needs a simple to use phone. It has many more features than needed for this application, but is simple enough to use that it should fill the need. Service was easy to start and the phone works well.

I bought this for my mother in law. Great for her as she is a senior citizen! Has big buttons and loud ring tones. Easy to use!!

We had my 94 year old father in law in for a visit and quickly realized we had a problem. At home he has a landline, where we do not. There was going to be a couple of hours per day he was going to be our home alone and decided we needed to purchase a phone during his stay. The phones was cheap and the service offered with the phone was a good deal with a month to month commitment. The only complaint from me that volume on the ringer and speaker was a little know. Since this is designed for a specific market, it should have a little better sound on both in my opinion.

Got this for my dad. Big buttons. Same navigation as his old flip phone. No instructions for setup of voicemail or contacts so I did that for him. Consumer cellular was easy to talk to in setting up service.

Got this phone for our grandma when she moved in with us. She has no need for a smart phone and just wanted a basic flip phone to be able to take calls--and this one fit the bill! Decent price and plan, so we're happy.

Price is the only good point of phone. The phone does not come with a SIM card. You can get one but have to pay for it although I believe a refund can be given once activated. Also consumer cellular does not allow for the phone number to be recognized by other phones.

I purchased this phone for a senior citizen who has no need to text. As a phone only, it is easy to use.

This phone is as basic as you can get. No predictive text or options on answering settings. My old flip from consumer had options. Returned this phone and spent a little more and got the j7. You can disable the data on it and it has good features for texting and call blocking.

I bought this phone for an elderly friend that only does calling. It is easy for her to read the numbers and understand how to use the phone.

The days of having a land line are mostly gone. We wanted a "home phone" that my Mom could take with her on errands in case of emergency. This phone was just the ticket. The numbers are large, its easy to hear through, and its small enough to keep in a pocket. There are many pay as you go plans to suit anyone's needs.

I have an iphone SE series. I love the apps on it . The Cell reception in my location is horrible. Since I went back to an updated flip phone, I get at least 2 bars and am able to call and receive calls now. Thankful I didn't pay alot for the iphone. The flip phone was only $29.99 . I' m a happy person now.

my mom decided to get rid of her landline and go thru consumer cellular. this phone is nice and simple for her to use. I don't have to worry about her not being able to make a phone call in case of an emergency . it has good battery life too

I use this phone to do one thing - make telephone calls. It easily fits into my pocket and it flips open to reveal a keyboard with large numbers. The letters are easily readable too, but I don't text. I bought one for my wife as well, and we have a low most monthly rate that fits our needs and doesn't break the bank.

Like the bigger screen & keys on this compared to the older Samsung flip phone I replaced.

I was looking specifically for a flip phone, not a smart phone. They are easy to keep in a pocket, no screen to break when you drop it, and the batteries last for two days!
