I love this cherry mechanical keyboard. It has a great tactile feel. The back lighting is excellent. The USB port on the keyboard is handy for connecting my my Alienware headset. It is a beautiful keyboard. It is a nice compliment to my Alienware Aurora 16 gaming desktop.

I’ve been using this Alienware keyboard for a few weeks now, and the experience has been outstanding. The design is sleek, with a solid build and premium finish. The RGB backlighting is vibrant and fully customizable, perfect for gaming or working in low-light settings. The keys are responsive and precise, making it great for both long gaming sessions and typing. The Alienware Command Center software makes it easy to set up macros and lighting effects. Overall, it’s a keyboard built for performance, style, and durability. Highly recommended for gamers and demanding users.

PROS: The Cherry switches are nice clicky and nice feel the per key lighting is a plus it is full size feels heavy and quality not cheap and light feels solid like it wont break easy Has many lighting features if you like those things Has N key roll over so pressing many keys at once while gaming wont be a problem. CONS: cannot change the switches they are soldered, I like the cherries thou. I wish also it can with a media jog wheel instead of a volume wheel, even with software there is no way to change what that controls. White does get dirty easy black wasn't available when I bought it Over all I love it and it matches my full Alien set up.

I would like to preface this review by mentioning that I have never used a mechanical keyboard ever. I am a person who has largely used chiclet/laptop style keyboards. As such, I was drawn to this keyboard for its low profile form and full size. It was also important to me to get a white keyboard, since I have a lot of vision issues against black keyboards, though this product ended up being more of a pale grey. The best I can describe the color as is the color of light grey toned paper, if you’re familiar with it. But with the LEDs on, it easily can be read as white, so this is not a huge issue. As long as I can see the keys, I’m satisfied. Typing takes some adjustments; not only am I coming from experience only with laptop keyboards, but I’m also not used to any type of mechanical keys. That being said, the MX Cherry Reds are smooth and sensitive; it doesn’t take much to register a keystroke. As a heavy handed typer, I haven’t noticed any issues regarding repetitive keystrokes, but I have learned that if I’m not careful I can lean my hand on a key too heavily and accidentally trigger it. Again, not a deal breaker. I’m very happy that the keys are solid and clicky, but not terribly loud that I will keep up my family in the other room. The sound is audible, but subtle. There is some instance of rattle and ping with keys like the space bar, shifts, and enter keys, but they aren’t so obvious while actually typing versus button mashing. The biggest issue I had wasn’t even with the keyboard itself. Alienware’s “Command Center” software is ridiculously slow, as well as sensitive. It took nearly 15 minutes to set up the keyboard’s lighting profiles. The software definitely hasn’t been optimized in a while. It functions, but barely enough to be decent. This isn’t an issue with the keyboard itself though, so it isn’t worth a star deduction, but definitely worth mentioning to future customers. If I was to nitpick, I would say that the LEDs for things like the function key lock, num lock, and similar features, is really annoying. I’ll be keeping my keyboard set to white (which is tinted slightly blue, FYI) for the most part anyways, but the fact that those keys light up white when in use is frustrating. Especially since I use media keys a lot and would prefer to keep the function lock on 24/7 for easier access to those. Maybe there is a way to configure this, but so far I haven’t found anything online. Once again, Dell provides relatively poor service in that department. Overall I really like this keyboard. It’s a premium price, so I recommend snagging it while on sale or open-box like I did. If you’re in the market for a white, low profile keyboard, this should fit the bill nicely, but there may be some cheaper alternatives if you can sacrifice some of the bells and whistles here.

Excellent keyboard. The keys are nice and soft and the keys aren’t as loud as other alienware keyboards I’ve owned. The lights are great and easy to edit.

This keyboard hits all my wants. I do not mind that it is wired, but be mindful that it requires 2 usb ports to connect to. The keys have this soft yet firm feel and I love the clicky sound. I am super impressed with Best Buy’s open box quality, I selected “excellent” and can’t beat this for $60. The colors are vibrant but I agree the dashboard is slightly cumbersome and that’s my only feedback for Alienware.

This keyboard is so quiet! I love it! Response time is immaculate and perfect for FPS. The main reason I wanted this was because of the low profile keys and they are so good, its so satisfying to type fast on. You can customize how you want the lights to be, and can dim and brighten and flash and all the crazy things you'd want. Also cord is so thick and well made, definitely gonna last. The volume button is probably my favorite part because you can use it without looking and its fun to spin. 10/10 recommend

Excellent! The typing is so much better that the keyboard I replaced. I bought at Best Buy, the Alienware R9 desktop and the 510 wireless mouse. All match colors, look amazing! The role bar volume control is a plus that no other keyboard has that I know of! Lighting easy to change for effect.

Keep away from kids! My daughter is two and if she sees it light up, it is game over! This keyboard is truly fantastic, with vibrant lighting that adds to its appeal. The absence of a key is thanks to my toddler’s curiosity. In fact, I own both the black and white versions of this keyboard. The key presses are satisfying, and the dynamic lighting changes, which you can easily customize to your preferences, add to the overall experience.

Really liking so far, it's no too terribly loud when typing. Alienware Command Center offers tons of customization, even though I stuck with a basic theme.

The keyboard does exactly what i wanted and i like that it has a port for usb on it! HOWEVER, we all wanna customize the lights right? Well to do that you need to use the Alienware Command Center. Half the buttons (on the app) won’t register my input and after messing with it some, it seems like i got locked out from changing anything on my keyboard.

Bought this as an opened box spent like 40 less dollars then i would have and nothing is wrong with it rgb works and everything

The Alienware 510K is a gorgeous low-profile, fast-actuating rgb keyboard. If that's what you're looking for, then I'd say it's a safe bet you'll surely be happy with. Its only real drawbacks are the ones you'd expect from Alienware, software and price.

Quiet, comfortable and beautiful, this keyboard exceeded all of my expectations for day-to-day typing and gaming.

The typing experience is really good. I won't disagree with that. Dell is using standard switches to ensure compatibility with new key caps, if you prefer. Add the lighting options with AWCC, and you have a great gaming experience. It's not as loud as some of those keyboards. Its muted a bit, Some of us type fast and have families lmao. Anyway. I type better on chiclet type keys, so I gave this to my son. I can't deny the quality. Good job Dell.

This keyboard is really sleek and unique looking! Slim keyboard with very nice braided cables. Argbs are super bright and since the switches poke through the top plate a little they shine bright and look very cool. I have put on some crystal keycaps for the number and function buttons to test them out. Keep in mind the keycaps for the rectangular function keys like shift enter and backspace have a special sort of configuration for the stabilizers.

The feeling of the cherry keys is remarkable clicky to the touch and of course is made of Great quality materials. The keyboard will automatically download the Alienware software and it works great with the programming of my computer. No unnecessary background noise.

For the Dell Alienware R15 white case, this keyboard is aesthetically perfect for matching the system. Also, the lighting is excellent and the keyboard functions perfectly. It's a beautiful keyboard and I would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable and easy to install, the keys are smooth with that old-school mechanical sound, I would have bought 2 instead of one to have a spare.
