I love the backpack it fits all the necessity things I need to go. I watch a video for the backpack; it's called nomads nation. It describes all I needed from a backpack. I know it's expensive wait for it, when it comes in sale. Although you should nomad nation its great YouTube backpack review if you want to get it.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] I was searching for a bag I could use as a personal item when flying, with good organization, a clamshell opening, and the flexibility to serve as an EDC, too. The Traverse has nailed all of these goals, and done it while looking sleek and stylish. One of my favorite features is the split compartments for the front. Instead of having one giant pocket - where everything falls to the bottom - Alpaka gives you 3! A top pocket, perfect for shades or a charger and battery pack and headphones. A small zip pocket, great for phone, passport, smaller things. And a larger zip pocket, with organizations built in. It's perfection. It's become my favorite bag, ever, in short order.

If you're in the market for a travel backpack, look no further. This backpack is the one. There is absolutely no other backpack I would travel with other than the Alpaka Traverse. I'd be so stoked for an xpac or ultradyne material in the future.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] I purchased this bag as a day pack for work. Occasionally I have to fly to broke aircraft and assist in fixing. This bag perfectly fits the second and third days clothes, my iPad, some flashlights and batteries and my toiletries. The hidden passport pocket makes it easy to hide the important documents when traveling internationally. It's easy to go down a rabbit hole when trying to buy a travel bag and many bags are well made and have great features, but I always return to ALPAKA for their materials, quality and comfort.

My only complaint is that it says it's 30L, however, I couldn't fit all my stuff from my previous backpack which was 28L.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] I have had nearly all the flagship EDC backpack's from Alpaka, this by far is my favourite. Large enough to carry all my need with extra space. Yes small enough to not look like a travel backpack. The pockets and storage are next level. Straps and padding is so nice to the touch. Love it love it love it!

I love the horizontal luggage strap so I can slide it vertically onto my carry on (no idea who invented a vertical strap?!) The quick access pockets are perfectly placed and the material is rugged but sleak. I really love Alpaka gear.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] This is my first Alpaka product, and I've been genuinely impressed. The Travers 30L is high quality, looks great, and is extremely practical for everyday use. I mainly use this backpack as an everyday carry bag. It comfortably fits my laptop, a change of clothes and shoes for work or the gym, and still has room for other daily essentials. I also have two kids, and the bag has plenty of space for everything I need when heading out with them for the day. The size is ideal for my needs, and the compartmentalisation is very well thought out, making it easy to stay organised without feeling cluttered. The bag feels durable and comfortable to carry, even when fully loaded. Pros - Great size for my purposes - High-quality materials and build - Looks great and works well in both casual and work settings - Very practical with excellent compartmentalisation Cons - None Other Comments - The laptop compartment could benefit from a higher-quality microfiber lining, as it feels a bit rough. It could also maybe benefit from a secondary file sleeve in this compartment. Neither of these has been as much of an issue as I expected. - The front pocket is large but slightly difficult to access at the very top - I personally like the internal water bottle compartment - A false bottom to help the bag self-stand and provide extra laptop protection would be nice, but it's not a major concern. The bag can often stand on its own depending on how it's packed Overall, this backpack has exceeded my expectations and has been a great first experience with Alpaka. I'd happily recommend it. I'd also strongly suggest watching the Nomads Nation review on YouTube. I believe it's a very fair and accurate overview, and I found many of the comments relatable. I can't comment on sizing concerns mentioned elsewhere. For me, the size is perfect.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] This is my 3rd Alpaka purchase, (Elements Backpack Pro in X-Pac and Elements Travel Backpack in X-Pac - both get an enthusiastic 5 stars!), however the Traverse Backpack is having issues holding its form. I love the size, materials and build quality but even when fully packed out, the bottom has an odd crease that does not go away. I even tried to pad it out with a hat/gloves and umbrella but it is persistent. It is not a deal breaker but a disappointment considering my experience with the prior 2 bags. In addition the side handle does not lay flat and can catch on doors and random items while commuting. The top handle, while very functional, could be slightly larger as too could be the top pocket. It struggles to contain a badge, key fob and earbuds. I still love Alpaka products but might have to consider going back to the other bags in my collection.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] I purchased tbis bag after watching numerous reviews and still was surprised by the weight - it is rather heavy for the size. Inspite of that, I am very happy because this bag has a clear beautiful shape even when empty. Comfortable shoulder straps make up for those extra grams of weight. Great organization, good access to laptop compartment. Inner waterbottle sleeve helps to retain overall elegant shape. Will use it more as a short trip travel bag than EDC.

[This review was collected as a part of promotion] I've owned the Elements Pro and Elements Travel backpacks, and while I loved their design, they never really fit my larger frame all that well. I ended up selling them both. I saw this new offering from Alpaka and immediately found some reviews, and decided that the harness looked like it would work for me and ordered it. I absolutely love this pack. The harness is very comfortable and fits me perfectly. I would say that it's closer to 28 liters, but it still holds a ton of stuff. I really like the hybrid water bottle pocket. Despite what some reviewers have said, it easily holds my 40 ounce hydroflask bottle, and even with the bag fairly packed out, I can still zip up the pocket all the way. The organization is great, and, unlike the previous Alpaka packs I've used, the pockets have their own volume and don't bulge as much into the adjacent pockets. I really like how the main admin pocket is offset to provide easy access when the bag is swung in front while keeping one of the straps on. My only wish is that the laptop sleeve had a secondary pocket for a tablet, but they did include a slip pocket on the back of the main compartment that fulfills this so it's a very minor gripe. I highly recommend this pack. It's great for EDC, and I'm sure it would be awesome for light travel as well. Great job on this one, Alpaka!
