A: YES, but it charges much slower than the normal battery drain. You even get battery charge warnings from your quest that you are "slow charging" even when new. Mostly dead weight on your head. But the strap is good and comfortable.

Should come with this setup!
So surprised how comfortable it is to wear. So easy to switch to the new head set. Don’t even need to use the strap that is on top of the head. The battery is also very nice for free roaming. 100% recommend!

Gives me an extra 2 to 3 hours playing time.
I find this to be a very comfortable and wonderful product. Battery. Life is long lasting, and it always comes to last as long as the manufacturer stated that it would last. It last an additional 2 to 3 hours passed when it says it will. The other device gets starts to get dying. The regular battery doesn’t last that long and then this wonderful headset kicks back in so that you get another two or three hours to charge and you can always charge devices while you’re on them. I haven’t tried it, but I heard that you can do that too.

Heavy and horrible.
Heavy, add way too much weight. Horrible battery that does not last an hour longer than the quest itself. Weak or cheap cable that gets a slow charge warning on the quest when running and plugged in so it does not help. I wish I have never bought this thing.
