Speakers are not the problem, installer (shouldn’t call himself one) had a complete lack of morals and skill. Damaged the speaker with his drill, instead of telling us or replacing he decided to put the back deck back on and not say a word. Speaker sounded horrible took it to a real car audio installer took the back deck off speaker had a giant hole and a crack. Never let wannabe installers at Best Buy in Stockton work on your vehicle. If they would’ve mentioned it and said they needed to order a new pair I needed to come back I would not have had a problem the fact that they tried to cover it up and not say a word disappointing Best Buy needs to do better. This review is not a knock on the Alpine speakers solely the installation.

I installed the Alpine S-Series coaxial speakers as an upgrade from factory speakers, and the difference was immediately noticeable. The sound is much clearer, especially in the highs, without being harsh, and the mids come through crisp and well-defined.

Nice and clear. good for the money. i recommend purchasing the composite verion with the built in tweeters. you could step up your game with some higher end infinity speakers if your not tight on money!
