Great clarity and volume for a pretty reasonable price, I run them at 50w and they still sound sweet at high volume, didn’t use the brackets for mine but they can fit a whole bunch of stuff. Big fan of these.

Real quality speakers and excellent installation! Technician did a great job in a timely fashion. Would highly recommend them!

Nice and infinity speakers I love The Way of sound

Installed these in the front doors of a 2005 Accord and powered them with an Alpine KTP-445U amp. FYI Best Buy says these fit this car but be aware you'll have to get creative to mount the Tweeters and you'll definitely want the plastic rings to adapt them to the doors. They replaced a set of Rockford Fosgates (powered by the same amp (that in my opinion didn't sound great from day 1) which didn't last a year. Following the instructions/diagrams on the back of the box I was able to remove the tweeters from the bulky flush mount housings they are in and fit them in the stock dash tweeter grilles using some ingenuity and some zip ties. I looked at the diagrams on the box and I don't think the tweeters are designed to be surface mounted at all. These are rated for more power than the RF's they're replacing so hopefully they last a long time. I may get a 6x9 set for the rear deck as I'm not thrilled with the sound of the RF's I have back there. I tried to save a few bucks by going with another brand but in the end I spent more and installed Alpine.

5 Stars — My car now has a better sound system than my house. I installed these Alpine S-Series speakers expecting an upgrade. What I got was a full-blown spiritual awakening. My old speakers sounded like they had been working the same job since 2004 and were desperately waiting for retirement. These Alpine speakers showed up like they had something to prove. The first song I played made me turn around and look at the back seat because I genuinely thought somebody else was in the car. The highs are ridiculously crisp. The mids are clean. The bass actually has some authority behind it. I started hearing instruments in songs I’ve listened to for YEARS and realized I apparently haven’t been hearing half the music this entire time. Then I made the mistake of turning the volume up. My car went from “commuter vehicle” to “mobile concert venue.” I pulled into the driveway and sat there for another 20 minutes because I wasn’t emotionally prepared to turn the car off. My neighbors probably think I’ve joined a traveling DJ crew. Installation was straightforward, build quality feels excellent, and they look like they were designed by people who actually care about making speakers instead of whoever was assigned to the “car audio” department at 4:55 on a Friday. Are they cheap? No. Are they worth it? Absolutely. These speakers didn’t just improve my audio system. They exposed every questionable song choice I’ve made since high school. Would buy again. Would recommend. Would absolutely install them before letting my car leave the driveway. 10/10. My only complaint is that now I need to upgrade everything else because the speakers are making the rest of my system look bad.

I got these for a 2005 Scion TC and i wasnt expecting much out of the speakers due to the price (paid $120 on sale) but they sounded really good. I ended up get some kenwood speakers for the rear speakers of the car and i immediately noticed an issue with the sound. I'm an audiophile and when i put the sound balancer to rear only (with the kenwood speakers) versus front only (with the Alpine), there was a noticable difference in clarity for the sound & bass (which was more clear). I was surprised to see all the 5 star reviews but i can see why. I ended up returning the kenwood rear speakers and ordering these for the rear as well. Definitely recommended and worth the money, if not more. A+

I replace my factory Saturn sky, 2008 speakers with these Alpine S series and was absolutely worth the price. Of course, I’m just comparing this to the factory speakers which were not impressive st best. The sound is very clear and I’m very pleased that there’s no distortion at high levels. I didn’t even change the Stereo as these have enough power for what I need in a two seater sports car.

These speakers sound as good as expected. The packaging was good, the product feels solid, and it included a plethora of installation parts.

Very fair for the price.. came from pioneers 4 ways to these. At first it was very close but the difference from coaxials to components is a complete game changer in the sound. All my notes no longer come from my feet. If you have the extra cash i would recommend the r series on an amp. The mid/bass from these on my pioneer head unit is pretty weak but i have a complete system so i dont really care.

Pros: good sound quality, and the open-box pair was complete. Happy with this upgrade.

This would be a 5 star item but the tweeter mounts are really fragile. I removed the tweeter from its base and when i tried to put it back together and twist it into place, the locking mechanism wouldn't hold the tweeter in place. I had to use JB weld and clamp it in place overnight which caused a delay with my install. I was hesitant on the type of crossover used but they sound really good. My other components have an external crossover so i didn't know how the Alpines would compare. I like the way they sound

[Employee of bestbuy] I have always been a fan of Alpine, so I was very excited to see that Best Buy began carrying them again. If you are looking for competition level speakers, skip and go to the R series. HOWEVER, do not discredit the S series. Even un amplified, these speakers produce a great sound. The tweeters are alright, but certainly better than any stock system. I have been pleasantly surprised for the quality of sound for the price, and I would highly recommend these to anyone who just wants better speakers than factory, but they’re not on the search for the highest of the highs

The product is great , I had to order 2 extra accessories because Best Buy left off these items in my shipment . Customer service would not send them so I had to pay an additional 50 dollars . Alpine is not the issue but BestBuy is. Live and learn.

Always been an Alpine guy. These went in the front door (and door sail) of a 2020 Ford Ranger. Great upgrade at a reasonable price. I installed myself, very easy installation.

These head speakers are Perfect sounding with a strong base. Installation was quick and easy plus the employee that serviced my vehicle with the speakers was very professional
